> 3 dayIt makes a horrid sound and read/writes at about 60mb/s. Had to format it myself which took about an hour or two. (Two terabytes is a lot to format). Sounds like someone rolling around on a creaky bed. Im afraid its going to snap the actuator arm in half or something, its so loud. My friend said to not buy Hitachi and I see now why it was so cheap... Spend a little extra money for something of better quality

> 3 dayWas shipped in an open ESD bag and made very loud noises during read/write. Bought in August and has already failed in March, didnt even last a year. Also the warranty apparently expired in 2015, like others have said these arent actually new drives and warranty will not cover them.

Greater than one weekJust found out recently this hdd is going to fail soon. Lol. You get what you pay for. That said. Buy this brand new. Because it is worth it. This hdd handles all library of anime, movies, videos, and games rather well.

> 3 dayDo not buy this. I received this hard drive and installed it the same day. Turned my computer on and received a warning message that my hard drive may fail and to Replace it. Took it into a computer shop and was informed that the hard drive was a referbished drive and was no good.
