I am shopping for a 2TB hard drive with a 5-year warranty, as a replacement for an unreliable WD Caviar Green hard drive (that died within a month after its warranty expired). Although the product description for this hard drive says there is a 5-year warranty, many (if not most) of the sellers offer a version with a 1-year warranty only. Buyer beware.

So far so good.

Unfortunately we were unable to use the drives that I purchased from Aeon so I was forced to return them. So all I can speak for is there awesome price and fast shipping as well as their return process. I was pleased with everything from start to finish. I would maybe recommend decreasing the time it takes to issue the refund however I am still pleased it was all said and done. Thank You Aeon and sorry for having to return such a great product.

Purchased this from Finity India on the US Amazon marketplace. Great enterprise-class drive. Everything is working so far (had it about a week - will update if problems within a year). As an enterprise drive, it is a little noisy - nothing that bothers me, but if you want a perfectly silent system probably avoid enterprise-class drives.

Arrived promptly and as advertised. 5th star awaiting demonstration of reliability.

Do not buy this. I received this hard drive and installed it the same day. Turned my computer on and received a warning message that my hard drive may fail and to Replace it. Took it into a computer shop and was informed that the hard drive was a referbished drive and was no good.

Drive fail;apparently locked up
