FURminator deShedding Tool for Medium/Large Cats, Short Hair, Removes Loose Hair from Shedding

Greater than one weekThis is the best tool I have found for my thin short haired cat. The FURminator removes a lot of hair and glides over his bony shoulders and hips. Before the FURminator, Merlin wouldnt let me brush him...not so anymore! It works well on my other cats, but I find that a two sided Dematting Comb & Deshedding Tool works better on my two voluptuous cats...one with short hair and one with long.

> 3 dayWhen I’d brush my cat with his old brush, just as much fur would fly through the air as would get caught in the bristles. The furminator is fantastic at holding all the hair that’s loosened while brushing, and pulling out more loose hairs than my old brush. It’s helping reduce shedding when I pet him. My cat even purred the whole time I brushed him with this! Just be gentle because the metal teeth seem like they could easily get too intense.

> 3 dayFirst my cats love this brush. No introduction period needed Second my house needed this. With consistent brushing there are less “dust bunnies ( aka hair all floaters) in the air and on the floor Awesome product

> 3 dayI pulled out so much hair with just the first swipe. I wish I bought this the first day I adopted my babies. Hopefully no more hair balls! They seem to enjoy the way it feels too. Highly recommend!!

> 3 dayWow. It works. Like it really really works. I have two cats who I brush every other day and what I normally remove in 10-15 minutes came off in less than 5. My cats actually purr when I brush them and they don’t run away as quickly as they did before. Before, any time I pet them after brushing there was always more hair that fell off and this is probably the first time in 2.5 years that I can pet them without getting a bunch of fur on my hands. I debated whether I should buy this furminator or not because I already have two other brushes, one for the undercoat and one for just general brushing, and I wondered how different it could be, but I figured I’d try bc I was seriously at my wits end with the amount of shedding. It is sooooo worth it. The handle is soft and not tiring to hold. The click feature is kinda pointless but don’t let that stop you because this thing removes a tonnnn of fur.

> 3 dayThis does a very nice job removing loose fur on my cat. At first, she liked it, but lately, shes not been a fan. Perhaps she sensed it was helping me so she has revolted. It is easy to clean and works great if you can get your pet to hold still. Even drive-by passes work - it just takes longer.

> 3 dayI used my new Furminator for the first time today and I absolutely love it! I brush my cat every week bc he sheds so bad. I told my niece that I could stuff a pillow each time I brush him. She recommended the Furminator. Holy cow! The photo is after only 10 minutes of brushing. I can’t believe it. I will not use anything else - ever! It truly does get the undercoat. My cat loved it - flopped on his side and let me go to town. I’m sure feels amazing to him. I can’t recommend it enough.

> 3 dayThis was recommended to me by a friend who was a Vet after I complained about how much hair my cat was shedding, despite constant brushing. This brush is truly amazing in the quantity it removes, and my five-year-old cat seems to enjoy it. She gets tired after awhile of the grooming, but no more fighting with her to groom!

> 3 dayI have a domestic shorthair cat and this works great on him. Easy to hold, handle not too long, removes loose fur. Cat seems to like it as well.
