> 24 hourI absolutely loved the old version. This one doesnt brush out knots in the fur.

> 24 hourSome cats love being brushed. 2 of my cats love being brushed so much that they will scream at me to brush them at all hours of the day, leading me straight to the brush when I stand up. One of them HATES being brushed and will run away if he even feels that petting is getting too close to brushing, but he loves the furminator (maybe because it feels different, maybe because its a faster process) If you have weird cats who love brushing, be careful using this thing. Once it clears the majority of the undercoat, it will start stripping guard hairs or damaging their cuticle. Get a safe backup brush to use when they beg you for brushing when theyre already deshedded.

> 24 hourMy cat would never let me brush him until I got the Furminator today. I tried it on him as soon as I opened the package, and he actually loved getting brushed. It took out so much hair! He has been having hairball problems lately, so that is why I bought the Furminator. After reading the other reviews, I thought this might be just what we needed. I think it will do the trick.

> 24 hourI used one of these FURminator’s at a friends house on my dog and it worked great so I ordered one, but I missed that one I ordered was for a cat a big cat I needed one for a small Chihuahua so I had to return this one and order one for a small Chihuahua but I do know that they work very well.

> 24 hourShould have purchased sooner, there’s a reason this is top of the line for grooming tools. Very simple and easy to use, if you keep up with it, it definitely helps with shedding and hair all up in the air. It doesn’t hurt my picky cats, I think they feel it’s a massage almost!

> 24 hourThis is the best brush I’ve ever used on my kitties! As you can tell, I have an orange cat and a gray cat, and I’m honestly not sure how they still have any fur left after brushing them. I used this about a week and a half ago, and it has helped my orange kitty with coughing up hairball. I’m very glad I made this purchase!

> 24 hourIt removed an amazing amount of fur from both short and longer haired cats but it covered me completely in fur with the floofier cat. Like head to toe. There has to be a way to electromagnetically pull the fur to the furminator and not the person doing it. It was worse than my photo shows. Both arms were completely coveted underneath too.

> 24 hourWow. It works. Like it really really works. I have two cats who I brush every other day and what I normally remove in 10-15 minutes came off in less than 5. My cats actually purr when I brush them and they don’t run away as quickly as they did before. Before, any time I pet them after brushing there was always more hair that fell off and this is probably the first time in 2.5 years that I can pet them without getting a bunch of fur on my hands. I debated whether I should buy this furminator or not because I already have two other brushes, one for the undercoat and one for just general brushing, and I wondered how different it could be, but I figured I’d try bc I was seriously at my wits end with the amount of shedding. It is sooooo worth it. The handle is soft and not tiring to hold. The click feature is kinda pointless but don’t let that stop you because this thing removes a tonnnn of fur.

> 24 hourMy sweet cat Dante is a huge shedder even as a short hair. Id been using a bog standard cat brush to brush him every morning and it would not pick up a lot at all - even though every time we pet him wed come away with a handful of loose hair. Finally got this brush and ohhhh my gosh the amount of hair that comes off of him is UNREAL! Its like a whole nother cat coming out of his undercoat! Pretty gross but very satisfying both for me and Dante. Highly recommend grabbing a plastic bag and a pair of gloves before using this brush if you have a shedder like Dante just to keep the mess under control. Dantes always liked being brushed, it took him a little bit to get used to this one but now hes wild for it, purrs up a storm every time. I dont really use the feature thats supposed to get the fur off of the brush with a click, with the amount of fur I take off of him in just a couple strokes I find it easier to just remove it from the brush with my (gloved) hand and put it in the plastic bag. Ive already noticed a slight difference in loose hair around the house/in Dantes usual spots, hopefully with time itll get even better.
