> 3 dayArrived and looked like a quality product. Charged it, and tested it for about a 7 hour period at different speeds. Its really quite powerful. Still had plenty time left on it to keep on going. FOR MY USE: Its so easy to move around, and not need to plug into inverter when electric goes down. Pretty much will use for hurricane down time. Will work it into planned use together with inverter system (running other fans) or for short term appliance run times, etc. Thats using a Jackery 500 (Excellent Product), and an older XPower 1500 inverter . That use of the Geek is in the interim from electric out to generator power after storm. Have three Honda 2000, and they go to work after storm passes. That can be from 7 to 15 hours or more. I mention the Honda Generator, because you can then recharge the Geek too with generator. So, Ill use this fan at least every 3 to 4 months if only to cycle battery and recharge to keep it healthy and ready. For general use, would work well in patio area, or any other warm spots that need air flow when needed. I think it makes for an excellent mobile battery fan. Deserving of 5 stars.

Greater than one weekWeve had one of the 10 fans and one larger for a couple of years. We recently purchased another 10 fan. We use them outside on the patio, inside the large outdoor storage shed and sometimes in the house. The noise level is low and the battery lasts a long time, although indoors we generally plug it in. The larger one was inadvertently left in the storage shed throughout the winter. I was surprised to turn it on this spring and find it still had about three-fourths of the battery left on it. It had been used during the fall so that would be about right. The cold did no harm. Its easy to carry, the fan adjusts to the angle needed and with a low noise level works wherever we put it.

> 3 daythe fan is nice in the sense that it is portable. my boyfriend purchased it for camping since we use a fan every night at home, but it didn’t last all night. it died half way through the night and since we didn’t have a way to charge it, we were pretty disappointed the rest of the weekend. the quality is great, but for the price it definitely should have a battery that last longer.

> 3 dayExcellent fan so far. Bought it for camping in mainland Mexico where the power often goes out at night in some of the more remote areas. It’s been excellent so far and runs at top speed through the night and into the next day easily if fully charged. We just used it in a 5 star lodge when their transformer blew just before dark. Great addition for over landing and remote camping in warm weather. I just bought another so we could also put one in the tent if we desire.

> 3 dayUpdate: This sat in our RV for a year, getting to slightly below freezing in the winter to over 100° in the summer. It was not fully charged when we stored it, but I dont know what level it was. Today I pulled it out and it started putting out a breeze. I plugged it in, and it is over 60% charged, even after sitting for a year! More impressed now than when we first bought it! It works great for moving air around the RV on hot nights when we dont have power. Its a game-changer for summer boondocking! We bought this for warm nights boondocking in our travel trailer or in our tent. When it arrived, it was about 60% charged. I plugged it in and waited for all lights to go off, indicating a full charge. I then set it on the lowest speed and let it run. 25 hours later, the red light began to blink, indicating it needed a charge! I had not expected that kind of battery life! Another 2 hours on the charger, and back to full charge again. Im excited to have a solution to move a little air when were away from electricity!

> 3 dayI ordered this fan 2 weeks ago and I am so pleased with its performance. I live in South Florida and wanted a fan for the back patio since it can get very warm with stagnant air flow. The first time I used it, it turned my patio into an enjoyable summer hang out. On high, it works for almost 6 hours. When I turned it down, I was out all day and it did not reach the end of the charge. I like that the fan level is variable, not just on and off, I cant say how long it takes to recharge because I plug it in and walk away. I also like that it will run when it is plugged into the wall, while it is charging. Thats a nice added feature because I have a blue too speaker that will not play while charging - annoying. There is not a negative thing I can say about this fan!

Greater than one weekSeen this at a friend’s camp site. Gave to my spouse as a gift. So far very happy! Especially very impressed by the quietness of this very sturdy fan. I would use it easily around sleeping area, barely can hear it (at least at lower setting. Looks very sturdy, most all parts are metal, including blades, cage etc. Which does result in a heavier and bigger device but that is ok if all else holds up! The only open questions, the fan swivels up and down but the knobs on the sides which are made of plastic, don’t seem to serve any purpose, they don’t twist to hold the fan position. I also have not exhausted the battery life, so can’t tell how long it will last and how quickly the charging takes, or how long one charge may last! Will update as needed! So far definitely would recommend and buy again.

> 3 dayUPDATE: Its been almost 1.5 years, Ive used this a lot and now its dead. I plugged it in last night and nothing. If this wasnt almost $100 I wouldnt be too upset that it only lasted that long. But for that price I would have hoped to have this for much longer. It worked great when it worked but now its a big paper weight. I ordered this to initially use when camping. I use it all the time! Its convenient to take outside when in your yard on a hot day, or to use at night for a breeze and some white noise. The fan isnt really doesnt produce a lot of noise and the charge does last quite a while. If you charge it and run it on high it will last 2 - 3 hours. On a lower speed you are looking at 8 or so hours. The only thing I dont like about it, and it could just be mine, is that when you charge the lights flash on top. At night those lights are bright. Then, when its fully charged, it doesnt stop flashing and just keep the 3 lights on...the last one flashes FOREVER. At first I thought it wasnt fully charging, but it is. It just likes to flash that 3rd light whenever its plugged in. However, with that being said I think this fan is incredible. I recommend it for anyone, like me, that gets hot no matter what time of year. Its a perfect size fan to really stay cool when youre hot.

> 3 dayI initially bought 2 of the 12-inch fans to use while traveling or in case of a power outage during our hot Texas summers. Theyre incredible! Theyre expensive but I think here, you get what you pay for. Theyre very quiet, very durable, and appear to be of high-quality material. They came very well packaged. There is a dial knob to control the level of airflow rather than just 3 settings you adjust. I also love that the panel on the back shows approximately how charged the fan is (in increments of 20), so you can tell when the juice is getting low. Ive tested out the settings to see how long the fan will run on a single charge. The box says up to 20 hours, and while this may be true...it would have to be barely turned on to last that long in my experience. It does hold a charge very well though considering how great the output is on medium to high settings. On full blast, the fan runs for about 5.5 hours. By the way, it puts out a surprising amount of air on high setting. On a medium setting, which still has really great airflow, the fan runs for approximately 8 hours or so. I havent tested on low setting because that doesnt put out much air, though obviously better than nothing if you need some air movement. My old dog has been sitting in front of this fan since I got it. Its come in handy several places where I needed a little air movement but wasnt near a wall plug. Theyd be great to take anyway outdoors. They were such a hit in my house, I bought my brothers family one for Fathers Day. I figured they might want it for those scorching kids baseball games. He texted me saying it came in handy during the last games. In fact, my sister-in-laws family was at the last game and after seeing their fan, they also bought one.
