> 3 dayId give it 6 stars if I could. Got the 12 metal one for sitting on the patio and camping in the heat--now Ive been using it indoors when I work out, come in from the heat, or my wife just turns the thermostat too high--not having to plug it in makes it very convenient. It blows a lot of air for one person from up to about 4 away; the cone is too focus to really hit multiple people unless they are very close together. On highest, moving that much air isnt going to be silent indoors, but its as quiet as any 12 fan Ive heard and not enough to be annoying. Battery life is excellent. Ive run it for at least 6 hours on the highest setting and still had over 20% charge. Build quality is excellent--its nearly entirely metal (including the grill and legs, not just the blade), who makes things out of metal anymore? Its even held together by Philips screws, not rivets or glue.

> 3 dayWe wanted to camp in July/August, but not being able to sleep is a deal breaker for me. This fan really helps remove the annoyance of trying to go to sleep hot and sweaty. We would fall asleep with it on and then turn in off during the night once the temperature dropped. The stated run times are accurate, and the fan is powerful. One thing I noticed (I also bought the same fan for a family member, and they said the same thing): when this fan is 100 percent charged, it seems to cycle up and down in power until it reaches a slightly lower level of charge. This goes away quickly, but is a minor annoyance. Also, we have a 10 by 10 tent, and since the fan doesnt rotate, you have to kind of position it carefully to hit everyone. I tried to charge this directly with a portable solar panel, and it didnt work for some reason. So I just charged it with my portable generator. This to me was the best set up for our long camping trip. Solar charged the generator, plugged in the fan to the generator. Then at night had ample electricity to charge any remaining devices. Very much recommended. Again, if you are like me, if you know you arent going to be able to sleep in the heat, you wont go camping. With this I dont worry.

> 3 dayThis fan produces a ton of airflow and the battery lasts forever. However, it is quite noisy out of the box (it sounds like maybe the blades are loose or something?) Also, the LEDs for the battery on the back are ridiculously bright. I wanted to use this in the room where our baby sleeps while traveling but the lights are brighter than the night light we normally use by a pretty wide margin. Itd be great if those were more dim or maybe if you could turn them off.

> 3 dayBefore I actually rate this fan honestly, lets address some of the reviews- like the absolute brainiac Einstein of an electrical engineer who did a tear down and said the fan isnt 12,000mAh but really 2,000mAh, showing the battery pack with the label 2,000mAh. I wish I could respond to his review but Amazon doesnt allow that---- the battery inside the fan isnt 2,000mAh, its 6x 2,000mAh 18650 batteries run in series wrapped together. You know what 2,000 x 6 is? 12,000mAh. So dont listen to that review. Who cares if the battery is floating inside or whatever. The fan wasnt built by NASA or NOAA, its a Chinese made fan with a battery attached. Now, this is where a buyer should pay attention. At the lowest setting, which barely creates enough of a breeze to dizzy a mosquito, it will last you quite some time. At the top power level it does kick up a nice gust. The thing is, I didnt buy this fan to plug it in and catch a nice breeze. My wife and I bought TWO of these fans because we live in Central Florida. We have air conditioning for the heat, but when we get slammed by hurricanes we have no power. This fan did a decent job when we got hit in 2020 and lost power, but at the highest setting it didnt last the night. And thats ok. Its rated at 12,000mAh and we had it turned all the way up. Now we have a son and he takes priority, so we bought a second one for us. Truthfully I wish it lasted longer. But I cant take off a star because I wish it was a 20kmAh or higher. I bought it knowing its 12k. However, we have since purchased a massive battery bank - and I dont mean ones that charge your phone - I mean one that can charge your laptop, another laptop, and 3 phones as once. Im no electrical engineer so idk what the wattage/voltage draw on this is but it did dent our battery pack by about 15% after a full 9 hours at 100%. If youre buying this for some outdoor event for a few hours, have at it. If youre buying it to run it on low in a portable setting, have at it. But if youre like me and my wife, buying multiple different sized fans from different manufacturers, specifically for a power outage then just understand its actual capacity and capabilities. Again, I wish it lasted longer but you cant buy 6 eggs when the recipe calls for 12 and be mad at the grocery store. This fan is what it is, but dont expect some miraculous 15hr drain on high. I think we got 6.5hrs on high, tops, which is great when were in muggy Florida with no power and the house surges to 87 degrees at night during a hurricane. But once its dead, its dead - which is why we got the massive power bank. 5 stars. Its a 12 inch fan, it moves air well, it has a battery backup, and we got what we paid for. Period.

> 3 dayExcellent fan so far. Bought it for camping in mainland Mexico where the power often goes out at night in some of the more remote areas. It’s been excellent so far and runs at top speed through the night and into the next day easily if fully charged. We just used it in a 5 star lodge when their transformer blew just before dark. Great addition for over landing and remote camping in warm weather. I just bought another so we could also put one in the tent if we desire.

Greater than one weekI bought two 12-inch GeekAire portable fans (model: CF1SE) for indoor use (i.e., part of my hurricane supplies in case of power outage). The portability, fast recharging capability, silence, and ease of use of this model are all great, hence my five stars for the review. The battery duration is also good (about 11 hours next to my bed at mid-speed), but not outstanding. I wish that the manufacturer would increase the battery power (12000 mAh) so that the charge would last longer at a faster speed. The CF1 model offers a 15000 mAh battery, but the unit is $25 more expensive (the CF1SE model is not that cheap in the first place). I am not sure that the additional power would be worthy the additional cost. A more powerful battery would also mean longer recharging time, but I think that a 5-hour recharge time in return for 20000 mAh would still be a good trade-off to consider. I would also have liked the rotary switch to have markers in COLOR so that I could easily set up the fan for optimal speed in relation to duration. See photo--I taped a little mark. Obviously, these comments are more like suggestions for improvement to the manufacturer. Despite these minor weaknesses, I will keep the units, see how the fans perform over the years, and recommend this model to prospective buyers.

> 3 dayI thought this portable fan would have a better breeze of air as it was advertised. I have to put it practically on top of me to feel the air flow. Disappointed.

> 3 dayMy husband bought this cordless fan to use at an art show he attended this past weekend. He is very glad that he did and calls it, The best fan ever and the best purchase he has ever made for his art shows. (See a picture of the fan in his art booth while he was setting up for a show.) Even though we ordered it last minute, the fan arrived very quickly and in great condition. It was well packaged and easy to figure out how to use. He charged the fan as recommended for 4 hours before trying it out. After the first charge, he ran it on a medium-moderate speed for over 12 hours and it was still going strong. Since he was heading out the next morning to an out-of-town show, he stopped the fan and charged it up again as he wanted to make sure it would be fully charged for his show. For the two days of the show, he used it for 10-12+ hours per day on one charge. Because the weather was quite warm and humid, the fan worked well to keep him cool. Both days, it was still going strong at the end of that time. He likes the lights on the back that show the amount of charge left for the fan, and he really likes the multiple speed options. We thought the noise of the fan was fine and was not bothersome. Because the fan is small, it can easily be used in many spaces without being in the way. Many other artists asked where he had bought the fan and indicated that they wanted one too. He plans to use it again at future shows, when he is outside working on large pieces of artwork, etc. He highly recommends this fan and would definitely buy it again.
