> 24 hourBefore I actually rate this fan honestly, lets address some of the reviews- like the absolute brainiac Einstein of an electrical engineer who did a tear down and said the fan isnt 12,000mAh but really 2,000mAh, showing the battery pack with the label 2,000mAh. I wish I could respond to his review but Amazon doesnt allow that---- the battery inside the fan isnt 2,000mAh, its 6x 2,000mAh 18650 batteries run in series wrapped together. You know what 2,000 x 6 is? 12,000mAh. So dont listen to that review. Who cares if the battery is floating inside or whatever. The fan wasnt built by NASA or NOAA, its a Chinese made fan with a battery attached. Now, this is where a buyer should pay attention. At the lowest setting, which barely creates enough of a breeze to dizzy a mosquito, it will last you quite some time. At the top power level it does kick up a nice gust. The thing is, I didnt buy this fan to plug it in and catch a nice breeze. My wife and I bought TWO of these fans because we live in Central Florida. We have air conditioning for the heat, but when we get slammed by hurricanes we have no power. This fan did a decent job when we got hit in 2020 and lost power, but at the highest setting it didnt last the night. And thats ok. Its rated at 12,000mAh and we had it turned all the way up. Now we have a son and he takes priority, so we bought a second one for us. Truthfully I wish it lasted longer. But I cant take off a star because I wish it was a 20kmAh or higher. I bought it knowing its 12k. However, we have since purchased a massive battery bank - and I dont mean ones that charge your phone - I mean one that can charge your laptop, another laptop, and 3 phones as once. Im no electrical engineer so idk what the wattage/voltage draw on this is but it did dent our battery pack by about 15% after a full 9 hours at 100%. If youre buying this for some outdoor event for a few hours, have at it. If youre buying it to run it on low in a portable setting, have at it. But if youre like me and my wife, buying multiple different sized fans from different manufacturers, specifically for a power outage then just understand its actual capacity and capabilities. Again, I wish it lasted longer but you cant buy 6 eggs when the recipe calls for 12 and be mad at the grocery store. This fan is what it is, but dont expect some miraculous 15hr drain on high. I think we got 6.5hrs on high, tops, which is great when were in muggy Florida with no power and the house surges to 87 degrees at night during a hurricane. But once its dead, its dead - which is why we got the massive power bank. 5 stars. Its a 12 inch fan, it moves air well, it has a battery backup, and we got what we paid for. Period.

> 24 hourThe good news is this a beautiful looking, super-portable, long-lasting battery operated fan for indoor or outdoor use. The bad news is despite calling it a hurricane fan, its simply not that powerful compared to the Vornado model 723 which costs significantly less (but has to be plugged in to work). The really bad news is that the fan refuses to stay at the angle I adjust it to. It stays that way for a few minutes at most before going back to the angle it prefers. Iv e tried tightening the height control knobs, and they simply dont work right. The fan is otherwise decent, but not powerful enough to get you through heatwave with no A/C. I would not buy this fan again. Get a Vornado model 723. Now thats power, plus its built like a tank and stays where you aim it. If you are going camping, or to the beach, or just doing outdoor stuff anywhere, or youre in a summer time power outage, then this fan makes sense--especially since it doesnt have to be plugged in once its been charged. It puts out a pretty good amount of air for several hours, but because it wont stay where you aim it, that kind of defeats the purpose.

> 24 hourI bought two 12-inch GeekAire portable fans (model: CF1SE) for indoor use (i.e., part of my hurricane supplies in case of power outage). The portability, fast recharging capability, silence, and ease of use of this model are all great, hence my five stars for the review. The battery duration is also good (about 11 hours next to my bed at mid-speed), but not outstanding. I wish that the manufacturer would increase the battery power (12000 mAh) so that the charge would last longer at a faster speed. The CF1 model offers a 15000 mAh battery, but the unit is $25 more expensive (the CF1SE model is not that cheap in the first place). I am not sure that the additional power would be worthy the additional cost. A more powerful battery would also mean longer recharging time, but I think that a 5-hour recharge time in return for 20000 mAh would still be a good trade-off to consider. I would also have liked the rotary switch to have markers in COLOR so that I could easily set up the fan for optimal speed in relation to duration. See photo--I taped a little mark. Obviously, these comments are more like suggestions for improvement to the manufacturer. Despite these minor weaknesses, I will keep the units, see how the fans perform over the years, and recommend this model to prospective buyers.

> 24 hourThis 16 inch fan is extremely quiet and versatile. It has impressive air flow at all speeds and the battery life is as advertised. It does charge quickly and is easy to operate. The fan comes fully assembled and charged so it is ready to use out of the box. We bought this to use outside which is convenient since there are no cords. It is well made. This is the second battery powered fan I have purchased and I would highly recommend this one, especially if you live is an area where storms can cause extended power outages. The run time allows you to sleep with nice air flow blowing on you, which in a hot humid climate is a must. After my satisfaction with the first fan I purchased from Greek Aire I had no problem buying this second one. They are a good company with great customer service.

> 24 hourI had time to use this fan. I must say I love it. I have a remote, glass enclosed, gazebo in my back yard. A little bit away from my house. I do have windows that I can open up on three sides to get air. It is a bit hot in the summer but is a great 3 season gazebo. So for the summer I got this fan. I charge it up and it last a good point of the day. Its is great because I do not have electricity going to the gazebo. Once charged, it is wireless. It is a strong unit and it helps keeping my gazebo cool in the summer months. I recommend this if you go camping. I think it would be good if you can get a car charge option. Im not saying it is waterproof. Is good for a sheltered area. It can go anywhere otherwise.

> 24 hourLove this fan, its super easy to use.. basiclly its completely self contained, and ultra portable. runs for hours on a full charge. Build is great, beautifully finished with no sharp corners or edges. Super quiet, Im really impressed. Couple small items, There is a external charger, if I had a choice, I wish it would be part of the unit and instead have a couple legs to push a extention cable onto, I have seen that solution in other items lately that ship without any cable at all. Better shielding of the motor, my QUEST headset tend to drop WiFi connection if the fan is running at full speed, manufacture need to make sure to wrap the Motor with grounded tin-foil to avoid noise affecting the WiFi ;-) but really only a problem with fan at full speed. and when fan is in between WiFi hotspot and laptop or headset

> 24 hourI purchased this fan as part of my Emergency stuck at home kit. After being stuck at home without electricity for 5 days during snowmageddon 2021, I put together a kit for being stuck at home during whatever hot and cold weather without electricity. This fan fit the bill perfectly!! Since Texas is dangerously hot in the summers, I needed a fan that could run a good length of time off a single charge. I have used this fan several times over this past year and it never fails to impress me. It runs a long time on a charge and gives a good amount of airflow. The noise is not silent, but far from noisy. I absolutely love how far it can be moved to have airflow in several directions. Sometimes I like to have it under me directed upwards. I work outside alot and it is easily portable and not heavy. Since the majority of the fan is movable it can be made shorter to store under my porch couch for storage when Im not using it. It has gotten slightly wet by sideways rain blowing in and it didnt hurt it at all. I highly recommend this fan!
