> 24 hourGreat little fan until the warranty runs out. Had two, and just over a year, after the warranty expired the batteries would no longer hold a charge. Cannot get replacement battery packs for these vacuums ! Paid over $100 and cannot get replacement batteries, what a scam !

> 24 hourOverall, a nice fan with very high airflow. CONS: - Battery is a bit lacking. Only lasted ~4.5hrs on a full charge on high. I would expect about double that on medium, but I havent tested it yet. - While the stand isnt huge, I feel like it could have been smaller, or foldable for this price point. - The knobs to set the angle seem a bit weak and likely to crack over time (thin walled ABS, probably no UV stabilizer). And God help you if you accidentally unscrew one all the way! You practically have to take the whole thing apart just to get the knob back on since the screw holding it falls into the fan cage. - Must be charged via a 12V barrel jack, a USB powerpak wont cut it. PROS: - Very high airflow - BLDC is good quality and I expect it to last for a long time - No bearing noise (although there is some blade noise at higher speeds, but not much) - Seems like the IPX4 rating is appropriate, this thing should last awhile when doing drive-and-tent camping TL;DR - Overall, pretty good. High airflow, but low battery life at max speed. Stand is the weakest part of the whole design. Its obvious the costs went into the battery, motor, and electronics rather than the stand. Which is a good thing.

> 24 hourI ordered this fan and it was weaker at top speed than I expected. Checked the box said 1000 CFM, which is different from the 1250 CFM thats listed for CF3 10 fans in multiples places on Amazon, Home Depots website, New Eggs website, and other places. I contacted customer support and eventually acquired this handy table with the actual correct specs on all Geek Aire fans. To be clear, I think these fans are great. Its just important to know these real numbers - for some, fan speed is a higher priority than battery life, etc. My interactions with customer support were mostly positive. Had to order a different fan because of the incorrect specs issue but the quality of the CF3 fan was great and Im looking forward to getting the CF1 soon.

> 24 hourWe bought this fan to take with us on a road trip. Sleeping with a fan (for noise and breeze) at home every night, we know that not having one in our hotel would have resulted in a significant loss of sleep/rest. This fan although not as loud as the one in our bedroom, produced plenty of sound and breeze to ensure a rest as good as the hotel mattress would allow. So far, we have only used it for a few minutes while only the power of the batteries. When unplugging the unit, no slowing was noticed. The size of this fan is perfect for travel. Were it any smaller it would not have produced the desired breeze. Were it any larger, it would have been too large for reasonable luggage. Overall, we are 5-star pleased. If a problem with the durability of the fan - or any unexpected deficiency - should arise within a short time-span, then I will update the review to reflect that.

> 24 hourI have only used this fan a few times. Charged it the other day and it no longer works. Very disappointing!

> 24 hourI bought two 12-inch GeekAire portable fans (model: CF1SE) for indoor use (i.e., part of my hurricane supplies in case of power outage). The portability, fast recharging capability, silence, and ease of use of this model are all great, hence my five stars for the review. The battery duration is also good (about 11 hours next to my bed at mid-speed), but not outstanding. I wish that the manufacturer would increase the battery power (12000 mAh) so that the charge would last longer at a faster speed. The CF1 model offers a 15000 mAh battery, but the unit is $25 more expensive (the CF1SE model is not that cheap in the first place). I am not sure that the additional power would be worthy the additional cost. A more powerful battery would also mean longer recharging time, but I think that a 5-hour recharge time in return for 20000 mAh would still be a good trade-off to consider. I would also have liked the rotary switch to have markers in COLOR so that I could easily set up the fan for optimal speed in relation to duration. See photo--I taped a little mark. Obviously, these comments are more like suggestions for improvement to the manufacturer. Despite these minor weaknesses, I will keep the units, see how the fans perform over the years, and recommend this model to prospective buyers.

> 24 hourI thought this portable fan would have a better breeze of air as it was advertised. I have to put it practically on top of me to feel the air flow. Disappointed.

> 24 hourI spent a LOT of time researching multiple portable fans. I bought this one for the weight, size, and overall product appearance. I read reviews on all fans from the construction site fans that dont come with batteries, etc... The only reason I dinged this one down to four stars was the first fan I received was making a noise like there was something in the motor rubbing. My wife made me think I was crazy because she didnt hear it. I turned on and off after a full charge and still heard the noise a couple of days later. Amazon returns took care of this however it would have been nicer to have a %100 working fan the first go around. I have not given this fan the FULL battery test but from what I read it can go anywhere from 6 to 8 hours on high. I am going to use this fan at BBQs and on my boat for those still, hot days when there is no wind at all. Also DID NOT see anything anywhere on replacement Batteries should the ones I have go bad...

> 24 hourThis fan is such good quality, its insane. Its got to be in my top Amazon purchases of all time. I use it all the time and I still cant believe how big it is and how fast the speed is for the amount of battery it holds. Its portable, it cools you down, its not heavy, and its a whole-ass fan. I bring it to the beach and the pool, Ive even used it to dry off a spot on our mattress when one of the kids spilled water. Its so great to not have to plug it in. Highly recommend.

> 24 hourThis fan is cool, and the best battery-powered one I’ve ever used (I have a few). I live off-grid so my power runs out by 2am every night and doesn’t come back on until 8am or later. But this thing charges itself during the day and just keeps on running all night, then recharges itself after the power comes back on usually 6-8 hours later. It keeps the bedroom breezy & cool all night long, isn’t too noisy, and the speed is super adjustable. It’s also lightweight and easy to carry because of the handle, so I often take it with me when I go to art shows/fairs as a way of keeping myself and my clients cool while making & selling artwork under my canopy. It also makes hanging out outdoors more comfortable because it gets so darn hot in the summer, but I just pick a spot in the shade, set this thing next to me, and I can keep cool for hours while reading, painting, etc., and not have to be stuck in-doors next to my swamp cooler. The breeze also helps keep flies off my person and my paintings. The battery lasts for many hours, especially if you keep it on a medium or low setting (rather than a high setting) and though I’ve had it for 2 years now, the battery seems just as good, and the fan is still working perfectly. It’s made of sturdy metal and has handled accidental falls/drops/kicks/etc like a champ.
