> 3 dayThe photo of this item is very misleading. This is just the terrarium, not the kit. You get an empty glass box. I want to return it but Value Pet will charge return shipping which is huge. Very disappointed.

> 3 dayIm so glad they started making this size, this is the exact size I needed but I wanted front opening doors and until these came along it was impossible to find. My only issue is the clips that close the door. I miss the spring clips, these ones are hard to clip closed and its easy to think youve clipped it closed only to find you didnt.

> 3 dayThis is a great vivarium, but getting it is the problem. I ordered two of these originally; because of their size/weight they ship them freight. They take a while to get to you, but not in a bad way if you dont have a time crunch. The problem is, when they ship them, they ship them in a thick plastic bag with NO padding or protection. Of the two I originally ordered, one made it to me whole, the other was obviously broken, so I refused it when it arrived. They sent another, and then another; both of which (three total) were broken. After that, I canceled my order for the second and found one locally -- much pricier, but it was whole! These vent well, but keep in mind for creatures that need higher humidity, youll need to get glass or plexi to cover up the majority of the top screen. Otherwise, your tropical creatures will wither from lack of moisture. One last thing of note. These bad boys are HEAVY, and thats just when theyre empty. Due to their size, no matter how buff you are, I highly recommend having someone help you move them. It will save your back, and hopefully help minimize the chance of breaking these big well made vivs! :)

They where fast and prompt ( very nice and great in there response. They where having to backoder them because of all the orders for them. which i understand. Or they would have sent me another. In all they are good in my book.

> 3 dayThe seller was absolutely amazing and considering how large the tank is, it’s an amazing price! My crested gecko has plenty of room now he’s not cramped. He can grow to his hearts content. You could easily house 2 cresties in this I think. It’s my favorite tank now!

Greater than one weekThe mini wide is the one that I purchased for our 2 hermit crabs which have ample space to roam in separate areas from feeding. Easy to clean and all glass -> made well.

Greater than one weekI heard that this is everyones favorite terrarium for housing crested geckos so as a first-time crested gecko owner, I bought it and needless to say...I love it! Here are some important aspects of this product: 1. Waterproof bottom - this was important to me because crested geckos need a humid environment and I new I would be putting in a false bottom/drainage layer in mine. After a week of watering the plants and misting the whole tank on a daily basis, there are no leaks. 2. Humidity - it holds the humidity pretty well even with the screen ceiling. The humidity in my tank is currently reading at 70% even though I misted it 4 hours ago. Right now I am misting down the whole tank 1-2 times a day. If I put plastic wrap or bubble wrap over half of the ceiling it would probably hold the humidity even better but right now I cant complain so why change? 3. Escape-proof - trust me, the critters wont get out. Not even small insects like crickets or dubia roaches can escape. 4. Light but sturdy ceiling - its some kind of metal or aluminum screen and my gecko hangs upside-down from it constantly but it hasnt broken. I even used fishing line to hang a coconut hide (from the ceilings central bar for support) and it has held up perfectly. Its also completely removable and is locked into place with sliding locks. 5. Glass - To keep the glass clean and free from calcium/mineral deposits I only use distilled or filtered water on the tank and in my mister. This stuff is cheap and I get gallons of it for 39 cents at the local grocery store. 6. Nice n tall - Tall enough so that even with a drainage layer and Eco Earth on top of that, there is still plenty of space in the tank for my gecko to climb. 7. Front-opening glass doors - Crested Geckos (and Im sure other types of geckos too) get spooked easily, especially when you reach in to grab them from above. Being able to reach in from the front is a life-saver, not just for handling the gecko but for setting up/planting/and maintenance in the tank as well! Both doors dont even have to be open at the same time. You can keep one shut and one open. 8. Raised bottom - if for some reason you had to heat the tank, you could put a heat mat underneath the tank with the raised bottom. I shouldnt have to do that with my crested gecko, however. This winter I will probably consider getting a bar/fixture to hang a heat-emitting bulb from above the tank. 9. Background - honestly, I was kind of expecting more from this background when I saw the pictures of this tank online. It looks like it could be made from plastic or some other sturdier material but it is just styrofoam. Im not sure if there is sealant on it or not but it seems to absorb any water that is misted on it. It is still beautiful even in person but just not the kind of material I was expecting. My gecko seems to stick to it just fine with humidity at the proper levels but if the tank were to dry out, the gecko would probably have trouble sticking to it. I will probably take everything out of the tank in order to build my own background next year. 10. Weight of the tank - dont let its size (small-tall) fool you; this tank is pretty robust and its not easy for one person to carry by themselves, especially up stairs. Dont expect to be moving this tank around very much once you get it. Find a place to keep it, set it up, and try to move it as little as possible. I knew it wouldnt be light but I also didnt realize it would be so heavy unfilled either. I dont want to know how heavy it is now that its set up and planted but at least its not as heavy as an aquarium of the same size with water weighing about 10 lbs per gallon! Overall, I couldnt have asked for a more perfect terrarium for my crested gecko. My complaints are very minor in the grand scheme of things. Customize it any way you like and have fun creating a paradise for your pet. This tank is sturdy, versatile, and has become a beautiful centerpiece in my home :)

> 3 dayThese terrariums are nicely made, I opted for bigger one as it was not enough room for 6 hermit crabs but if you have like 1 lizard that is small or a small snake or frog then it would probably be fine but if you want to put a lot of decorations in it then opt for a bigger size. Nice price and it is cute and really is made nice. I like the little doors in the front, it is really convenient because you dont have to open the top and get into the cage. I give a big thumbs up for someone that just needs space for 1 animal, and if you want to add more decorations.......go bigger!
