These are normal tack cloths. Cheese cloth with a sticky surface to pick up dust. I use them after sanding, just before applying a clear finish. Doing so gives me a vastly superior finish over skipping this step. They are tacky enough to do their job without dragging on the wood surface. Use a light touch to avoid leaving a residue of the sticky coating on your work piece. It will get on your fingers if you dont use exam gloves. Refold them to expose a fresh surface when they start loosing their stickiness. This is the way all good tack cloths Ive ever used work. The difference with these is the price is half to a third of what Im used to for this quality. Good stuff.

I don’t do a lot of woodworking these days, but every now and then I have a project. Whenever I want to stain something, I generally wipe it down with a rag beforehand. With some surfaces, it’s really important to remove all trace of sawdust or dust particles. I thought I’d give these tack cloths a try to see how well they work. The tackiness in a tack cloth comes from an infusion of “hydrocarbon resin and plasticizer.” This does give it that tacky feel I got when I used these gauze cloths. The stickiness wiped away any trace of dust that might have been lingering on the surface of my wooden desk. There was no residue left behind nor any stickiness. The quality of these so-called superior tack cloths is quite good, excellent actually. I’ll be putting this box in my workshop for when I do have a project to work on. Each cloth is individually wrapped, which I find very convenient. The cloths are quite large and are perfect for my needs. Comparatively, the price is very good at around $12.99 a dozen ($1.08 per cloth). Locally, each cloth is costing around $3 each.

These tack clothes from Eshazua are great for picking up that fine wood dust when sanding and refinishing furniture which I do as a hobby. The size is 18x 36 inches, it is a box of twelve, they dont have any waxes or silicones on them which is important when refinishing furniture. When I wipe the sand dust off with these tack clothes my surface is actually pretty much clean after the first wipe with them. Be aware that they will catch on rough areas of wood. These came individually wrapped which is thought was a nice touch as they will stay clean until I need to use them.

I do a lot of painting with a spray gun and used these while redoing a trailer. Worked excellent! Just let them air dry for about 10-15mins and they work like a champ. Would easily get these again.

These are the biggest tack cloths that I have ever used! check out the picture to see the size! They worked great and I will definitely be buying more as they are way bigger than anything you can get at the home improvement stores.

Works well. I used this to clean a window sill that I had just used sand paper on. It removed all of the wood dust.

I tend to use tack cloths until theyre more dust than cloth. These are great tack cloths that can get you through a whole project with ease. Great 18x36 unfolded size - LOTS of surface area, just keep folding to a clean section! Less than $10 for 6 of these, combined with the size and quality, makes these a great deal.

We used a couple of these tack cloths for prepping the walls in my daughters house. THey just moved in and the former owners had 4 cats and 2 dogs and there was hair EVERYWHERE. We vacuumed and dusted and scrubbed and vacuumed again and we were still finding hair on the walls. We wiped them down with these and probably captured 99.9% of the hair. They work amazing and are long lasting. We cleaned 10 rooms and hallways with only 4 clothes (we each had one). The painting went without a hairy hitch. I will use these anytime I have to paint walls in the future.

These come individually wrapped and well packaged. Its pretty similar to most tack cloth. The thin cheesecloth material has lots of holes to catch dust and it is tacky enough to grab particulates but also easy to swipe across smooth surfaces without it catching. It doesnt seem to leave any obvious residue, but touching it with bare hands leaves an obvious light coating on it, similar to dried linseed oil. I suggest wearing gloves when using this and to lightly swipe across surfaces rather than rubbing it in, or else it might leave residue. I also suggest keeping them folded up as the cheesecloth becomes messed up rather easily. Just fold it to a new side to keep using the same cloth.
