So unhappy with these. They should be sticky for the dust, yes, but they leave behind so much residue!!! And oh hey, that’s permanent because it will not come off. Poor quality and now I’m sad.

I really like this set of tack cloths, the tackiness is just right for cleaning up your projects between stain coats and especially before (and between) your finish coats when you want every last speck of dust up and off the piece youre refinishing. These are comparable to the brand name ones I usually use and I love that each is individually wrapped so you get a clean sticky one when you need it. Truth be told, if I havent gotten it too bogged down with sanding dust I usually seal mine in a baggy after using and then reuse it for the less important clean ups when it doesnt have to be perfect but when you want the dust mostly gone so you can see where you stand (refolding it often gives you a fairy clean new surface as well). It does keep its stickiness for quite some time between uses as long as your baggy is sealed and if youre a cheap skate like me it makes me happy to make the set last longer! I use tackcloths all the time and this brand has quickly become the one I reach for. I would order again for sure.

We used a couple of these tack cloths for prepping the walls in my daughters house. THey just moved in and the former owners had 4 cats and 2 dogs and there was hair EVERYWHERE. We vacuumed and dusted and scrubbed and vacuumed again and we were still finding hair on the walls. We wiped them down with these and probably captured 99.9% of the hair. They work amazing and are long lasting. We cleaned 10 rooms and hallways with only 4 clothes (we each had one). The painting went without a hairy hitch. I will use these anytime I have to paint walls in the future.

While the intent seems to be using these on wood items they also work on metal. I refurbished a set of 4 wheels from my SUV and after cleaning, sanding, etc these cloths were perfect for final prep before primer and paint. Paint came out great so obviously work well. Highly recommend!

Better than the ones I bought at the big box stores, individually packaged and sticky. I do multiple painting and lacquer projects and when used recently, worked well. Fairly big, lots of tack

I do woodworking and these tack cloths do a great job of picking up the dust after sanding. Before staining and/or applying a final poly or oil finish elimination of dust is extremely important to the final product. These tack cloths serve that purpose very well.

These are very sticky and big tack cloths! Ill admit I dont have a ton of experience using tack cloths - Im pretty new to woodworking and Ive only ever used one other brand (from a major brand, best known for their rust-proofing spray paint). These are stickier than the name brand, but not so sticky that its impossible to unwrap them. They have a strong smell, which I suppose is the adhesive. They seem to work really well and Id imagine youd get a lot of uses out of just one cloth. They come individually wrapped, so theres no reason not to stock up! Ill be buying more in the future.

These are just as effective as the best tack cloths Ive ever used. I prepared by swabbing everything with Isopropyl alcohol to remove any contaminates, and then using one of these tack cloths to pick up any fibers or particles that inevitably found their way into my work. The end result is a nice smooth surface that only shows the works imperfections.
