> 3 dayThis tack cloth works great. The box came beat up, but each tack cloth is individually wrapped in sealed plastic so nothing got contaminated. Very sticky and picked up all the dust from sanding with a few swipes. Each cloth is also quite big once unfolded so it goes a long way. This is way cheaper than anything I can find at my hardware stores, so fantastic buy for me!

31-10-2024Bought for a special project to paint a neighbors desk she bought at goodwill. I ended up with the desk instead because we took it to my house to paint and fix up to then take to her house across the street. Turns out she didnt feel it would fit and she no longer wanted it. So Its a classic 30x60 inch desk with 7 drawers. Two file drawers were locked we removed the locks and were no longer a problem. But now one drawer is acting locked which of course cant be so somethings off with its slide. Well eventually get it released so I can then paint the thing. Following classic prep by sanding all over and lucky its mostly flat areas not a lot of fancy trim. And then you go over with a tack cloth to insure its super cleaned off after sanding. And that is why we bought this tack cloth. A bit more expensive than the cheaper stuff. I will paint it in a soft grey using a Sherwin Williams special satin paint. I am thinking of painting over the top only with a layer or two of polyurethane clear satin too. But the only place I can put this monster I didnt plan to own or want..is my sewing room. I now need to put Sterilites bin drawer units from floor to ceiling stacking 4 half drawers in the middle dividing the stack of full size bins in half. Three towers. Right now I have 6 towers just under 6 or maybe 6 feet high not precise. I forget their actual height. But the way I set these up I had room to put a board to keep the plastic tops from bending and warping and could stack two high 4 wide large plastic totes too across 3 of them. Then theres a gap with a 30 table that holds my sergers and a wall phone then two towers. Those two towers have to be taken apart and two of the half drawers and 3 of the large drawers will now fit onto the other three towers each to take them almost to full ceiling height. I will cut out a piece of fabric to keep the dust down at the top and periodically take down to wash. Anyway it still leaves me with 5 half drawers that will have to stack on one side of the DESK...reason I want a clean super smooth finish because I worry the plastic bin drawers mini towoer can damage or cut into the desk top. I may add a felt bottom to make sure it prevents that too. Now the only negative with this or any tack cloth is it can leave a slightly tacky or oil like film if you over work it or rub it. Another reason to go with this a bit more money because as a tack cloth it picks up quicker and holds better and avoids you wanting to or needing to rub it in or around too much. So thats a lot of work thats on hold while it rains. And desk is outside. Also Im in the middle of my own bit off more than I intended project with repairing a 22 year old Class B RV. Lifes challenges one must stay flexible.

> 3 dayThis will ruin any surfaces you use it on due to the sheer amount of residue that it leaves compared to other brands Ive tried. Good luck cleaning it off.

> 3 dayThese tack cloths are a must to have around! They are very tacky and work great. So far we’ve used them to clean wood in preparation for painting.

> 3 dayI find these to be just the right amount of tack/stickiness. Some brands have too much tack and are hard to unfold because it all sticks together, and then leave residue on whatever I wipe. Some other brands have too little tack and dont last very long or dont even pick up all the dust on the first use. These seem to be in the middle. Good amount to tack to pick up dust, but not so much that they leave residue behind on what I wipe. Plus each tack cloth is individually wrapped, which is nice, and they all come in a nice box.

> 3 dayGreat tack rags for the price. I have used these rags before restoring an end table and a book shelf. They really do a great job of getting the dust off. Once done sanding they do even a better job of getting the wood clean for a coat of varnish. Totally recommend using these over a cotton rag or old t-shirt. Outstanding value on these tack rags.

> 3 daySo these tack cloths seem to work okay at removing sanding dust, which for me is their sole purpose. The price is certainly much better than what is charged at the big box stores and now I have enough for several more of my projects.

> 3 dayThese do a good job with prep work. Gets all the excess lint of right before paint. Good to have around the garage.

28-10-2024These are just as effective as the best tack cloths Ive ever used. I prepared by swabbing everything with Isopropyl alcohol to remove any contaminates, and then using one of these tack cloths to pick up any fibers or particles that inevitably found their way into my work. The end result is a nice smooth surface that only shows the works imperfections.
