I wanted to do the right thing and buy truly compostable dog waste bags and took a lot of care in choosing these. They are large enough and strong enough, but they do NOT block out smell. After picking up on a walk, we have to endure whiffs of poop for the rest of the walk. YUCK. I dont recommend these bags for that reason.

I love the fact that they are biodegradable. That was always a concern for me. These bags are amazing quality. I do wish the price and quantity were more comparable to other poop bags sold.

Worthless. The first two bags tore (the bottoms ripped and were unusable) so it took three bags to get one that is usable. The bags are super thin and resemble grocery store produce bags in thickness. And they are not returnable so I guess I will throw then in the trash unused and be out the money.

these are pretty expensive poop bags, and not for everyone because they are a little on the inside. That being said almost every biodegradable poop bag Ive tried has been a little on the thin side. Youre the best Ive been able to find and I really enjoy using them. They help me keep a clean conscience for all the poop bags that go into the landfill.

Its funny to write a review for the not-so-fun task of bagging my dogs p00p! The compostable brand I bought- I had a hard time tearing the roll, had to search for the seam in order to tear- which is not so easy in the dark holding a flashlight. I stopped keeping them in my little p00p-bag capsule because they dont tear right. Then the bag wont open- Ive been struggling with a giant box of crappy (pun intended!) bags for a couple months now. So I decided to try these. They are like a dream! The bag tears perfectly at the seam, and I am able to use the little plastic capsule again. Then it opens super easy! Yay! They seem strong and just thick enough to do the job while protecting your hand. The feel of the bag is different from other bags- almost like a slick, soft feel. They are great size (I have a big dog that has giant p00p!), I have not had to use 2 bags like I had to with some others. So far I am super happy with these! Makes a crappy job much easier!

Nice quality. Always feels good to not add another plastic bag to the landfill. Ill be buying this product again.

I love the idea of a plant-based bag rather than using plastic, even recycled plastic, but it is so much easier to tie them with they have handles.

I have tried several brands, and these are by far the nicest Ive found. I expected these to be very thin and rip since theyre compostable. Instead they are thick and nice, I havent had any rip yet. Theyre just as durable as the plastic ones (but better for the environment). The only issue I have is sometimes when the grass is very wet the bag will start to get soft and limp along the top, but thats expected since its compostable. Not sure yet how theyll be with snow, but for now they are definitely my go to bags.

usually when it comes to poop bags I grab...any one because our dog is small (about 15 pounds) and as long as it can hold a roll of lifesavers we good cause thats about all her little body will poop at one time. These bags are BIG and thick, nothing like the thin produce type bags I normally get. It seems like a little over kill for such a small dog poop. This bag does give me the confidence to get in there and not be scared the bag will tear mid poop pickup.
