Greater than one weekI really choose green products. I avoid plastic in an attempt to lessen my contribution to the petroleum issues and also because even biodegradable plastics arent great for landfills. I chose these since they are plant-based. There was another brand of plant-based ones I tried but I had to double up on them. These hold fine, making them a better value. They are a little see-through so it may be off-putitng to some people.

> 3 dayI like how easy it is to refill but just like the plastic bags at the grocery store, the bags are hard to open. You have to lick your fingers, rub the ends together to get it to separate so you can pick up poop.

> 3 dayI switched from the green colored Earth-rated bags because these meet current guidelines for compostable products. However, I did find that these bags are more difficult to open. In my case, I use them to remove waste from the cat litter box daily. I have a smaller, separate open trash can for pet waste. I leave there the used bags and generally take them out to dispose every other day or so. I did notice that with these bags the smell leaks through the plastic because the room where I had the trash can for pet waste stunk and it didnt use to do so. I still consider that the environmental advantages of these bags are worth the hassle of changing my routine and figuring out a new system, so I will likely continue buying them.

> 3 dayI had been using the Earth Rated Lavender Scented bags and liked them except the smell was intolerable. I decided to try the unscented poop bags instead. Unfortunately, during my first day of use, two bags ripped and left me with a yucky mess! The difference in quality was shocking and unexpected. Summary: Earth Rated Lavender Scented: Good Quality, Horrible Smell Earth Rated Unscented: Horrible Quality, No Smell I do NOT recommend either of these products, but if you can tolerate the faux Lavender scent, then those bags at least wont leave you with a gross mess.

> 3 dayThese bags are great! They’re more environmentally friendly than others but they’re still pretty sturdy. I’ve never had one break on me.

Greater than one weekRegardless if these are actually biodegradable or not. I find these backs much easier to open with one hand while walking my dog than the regular earth rated poop bags. These cost more but the texture is nicer which makes it easier to pull apart.

> 3 dayMy compost bin, community garden, and the planet earth are so grateful for this! My hands are clean after pick up and I throw the bag with the poo into the compost. BPI approved! This is critical. Love it! Buy it! i ll tell others.
