This floss is thicker than most and softer. If you have a gap in your teeth that traps food regular floss won’t cut it. This floss gets food all out and doesn’t hurt your gums while you are flossing. I dislike the paper disperser compared to the plastic version. It’s weak and harder to tear each piece of floss.

Review for DrTungs Smart Floss - Natural Floss 6 pack First off, this is the best floss Ive ever used and Ill keep buying it no matter how they dispense it. The floss is fibrous and strong. It gets between the teeth, spreads out, and clears debris. The cardamon is very mild and refreshing. That being said, the new cardboard dispenser is the worst floss dispenser Ive ever used. When I saw that they had changed, I didnt care because the dispenser isnt the reason I buy this floss. It doesnt seem like you can make a bad floss dispenser. But they managed it. The original was a sleek plastic number that locked closed. Not the best dispenser that Ive seen, but it looked good and worked well. Theyve now changed to a flimsy cardboard with a groove that makes it difficult to extract and cut the floss. They justify this change as eco friendly, using less plastic. Which is fine, if the product worked well. But they did not design the cardboard replacement well. Theyd be better off sending out bare spools and scissors. Either bring back the plastic, use a new materiel, or redesign the box. This is terrible.

I love the floss and have been using it for years. I don’t like the paper case. It is flimsy and when it gets wet, it falls apart. I ended up using an old plastic case from one of the dental floss that my dentist gave me. It will be great if they offer a reusable plastic case and let us buy refills.

This is by far the most effective tooth floss Ive ever used. It cleans very thoroughly. The new plastic-free packaging is nice, too.

In my Subscribe & Save for long time… took a simple shift in mindset to realize the new paper dispenser is just as good as the prior plastic one. I Highly Recommend. ♥️

When I first ordered this I was so happy to have a gentle floss that was comfortable to use but didn’t throw particle bits all over the place. This is comparable to Reaches gentle care they discontinued but much better I think. My complaint is the new packaging. It’s flimsy cardboard. The first one I received was in a plastic container like most floss comes. Please go back to the plastic container!!

Love this floss and it’s hard to get in bulk so glad Amazon carries it.

I buy this floss because I read it comes closest to the Reach woven floss I used to buy. It’s a pretty good floss, though I might prefer a more standard minty flavor. My biggest complaint is the new cardboard packaging - it gets very soggy when I set it down on my sink. If we are trying to cut down on waste (admirable), I’d much prefer a refillable plastic package

Ive used other types of floss. I do know the Dr. Tung brand and know it is good. My local health food store does not carry the floss. I took a chance and ordered it online. What a great experience. Knowing ayurvedic herbs and loving Indian food, I thought the taste was great! Overall, the product is excellent. The seller, through Amazon, was prompt, and I got a great buy because of the bulk packaging.
