Good tool for a very good price. I bought this to replace a ThermaPen. It does not register temps as I’d like but it is fast enough. The magnet is a great idea. I can put it on the side of the fridge and that keeps it handy an out of a drawer. Display is good. Display is excellent if you turn on the display light. A good purchase an addition to my kitchen.

Works as expected, stores away easily

Its 7 inches long, 2in at its widest, just bulky. Also hate that it takes a hard to find flat battery that I otherwise have no use for, so Im annoyed that I have to keep those in stock just for this. On the plus side, they did provide 2 spares (3 total). Minus 1 star for making battery management unnecessarily difficult. This thing is big enough for AA, so Im baffled at the choice of batteries when AAA would fit with plenty of room to spare and are common in all households. That all said, it sits in my kitchen drawer, so the size doesnt bother me, but worth noting it if you plan to carry around in a commercial setting. Love that the on/off is the probes position (no switches or buttons to power) and that it has a light you press to turn on (did I mention the weird batteries, best to make them last). If there was a competitor that offered the same thing but with common batteries, Id return this, but since this is all I could find and its otherwise perfect... I recommend.

I love how easy this thermometer is to read and how quickly I get a result. When my previous device started reading 5.6 degrees F while inserted into something just out of the oven, I knew it was time for a new one. This is a great product!!!

Flick the probe out and it turns itself on. Clean and fold the probe back and it shuts off. How great!

Easy to use, super fast results & great price!

I bought this thermo as a back up and when it arrived.... the old one became the back up and this one my main. The moment you hold this unit..... you can feel the difference from all the others in this price range. It has heft, is slightly larger with a build quality second to none. It gives a full reading in less than two seconds and will only adjust by 10th over the next 15 seconds. Also, its an attractive thermometer with a bit of cool factor. I would buy this again in a heartbeat.

Does what it needs to do. Accurate temperature. Sturdy. Got it on sale so that was even better.
