I bought this thing as a joke for our crew but then we started using it with our 1/2” impact so we wouldn’t have to carry another small impact with us. This is honestly really handy to have around and will sink screws with ease

The internal locking clip broke off after 4 months of heavy use building a no nail house. Still spins the bit but the bits just fall out of the chuck. Bought another one anyway. A magnetic chuck may be a better design.

The retaining ring on the front was loose and prevented the collar from returning completely. So, I pried the ring out with pliers and bent it into shape. Now, the bit is seated firmly, does not slip out, and the collar is pushed securely to the face. Bought this adapter to use my impact wrench to drive timber screws. Tested and works perfect.

Good tool to have. Makes using the inmpact tool for other purposes a breeze. The push back ring is not smooth and annoying as it sticks a lot. Design could be improved to reduce loading and unload times.

This item is perfect for my needs. I gave it 5 stars because of that reason alone.

The adapter works well. However it does not stay on the tool as well as I’d like. Even with the ball in the detent, it’s sporadically falls off. Very good durability

This adapter is pretty cool. It lets you use your 1/4-inch hex shank bits with 1/2-inch impact wrenches. Which effectively turns them into powerful impact drivers. This lets me get a lot more use out of my impact wrench than I would otherwise.
