> 3 dayThe adapter is a bit wobbly on my DeWalt 1/2 impact driver, but no more than any other socket would be. It seems sturdy enough as far as the body and locking mechanism. My big gripe with it is that it holds DeWalt impact screwdriver bits (normal one sided type) too deep in the chuck, making it difficult to place the tip of the bit. The double-sided bits fit fine but are much harder to find locally and even online. Shipping from Amazon was fast and it was packed well, as usual. I would recommend as a temporary solution for 1/2 to 1/4 conversion, and until something better comes along I will be using it daily.

> 3 dayWas hoping to leave behind my drill and carry a small dewalt impact wrench for ultimate flexibilty. however it isnt balanced, but this is for rough work. i suppose i can ad a counter weight but nah. dont try to use this with a small diameter hex drill bit with your impact wrench, or small diameter head drivers. actually found this cheaper at a big box store...

> 3 dayI have the Makita XWT15Z and this adapter is not compatible. The detent hole in this adapter is larger than the detent ball on the impact so the dewalt adapter easily slips off. Its a shame, because this adapter seems to be excellent quality.

> 3 dayDriven over 1000 timber screws and no problems. Did have problem with bit getting stuck like others did but put a few drops of oil in it and problem salved. Put a few drops of oil in before you use it and will work just fine.

Thanku?
> 3 dayIt’s a cool idea, and it works , but I’m left wanting. It didn’t come with the pictured ring/pin holder, and it fits loosely which make bits wobble.

> 3 dayI bought this for my Ryobi driver after the one that came with it broke. It does the job well enough but is loose on many of the bits I use and sometimes comes off the end of the drill. I suppose it might work better with a Dewalt drill but it gets the job done. Considering the convenience of this little gadget, I am willing to overlook its few shortcommings.

Greater than one weekIt’s very good except when it is plugged in all the way it feels a little loose and not sturdy .

> 3 dayHave your 1/2 impact wrench double as heavyweight 1/4 impact driver. Overkill for most situations, but for some applications it is quite handy.
