> 3 dayI got these monitors because they are one of most recommended as external monitors for Macbooks. Apple computers have poor support for third party monitors, but Dell has made an effort with this model. I bought two for a dual-screen setup. The connection occasionally drops out on both monitors, requiring a disconnect and reconnect to fix. On one (and only one) of the monitors, the actual monitor itself hangs and becomes totally unresponsive. The only way to fix this issue is to UNPLUG the monitor to force a hard reset. That happens once every 3-4 days with heavy use. Not a big deal, just annoying and disappointing from such an expensive product. Otherwise, decent monitors.

> 3 dayI would say for the price point and having not tested other screens other than the monitor Apple sells (using this with a MacBook pro), this is a great option. If you need sound then this isnt the one to go with. If like me you are looking for a high-quality extra screen with a larger area than your laptop that wont break the bank, then this is a great option!!

> 3 dayWe are so glad we got this monitor and could not get it directly from manufacturer but Amazon had it. Love the design and quality, the resolution is a major upgrade from our older monitor. We are not gamers so just using for financials, e-mail, photos, etc. We plugged both Apple and PC into it at times works great on either.

Greater than one weekI have a laptop running on a bigger screen with 4K 60Hz, However with this monitor even with scaled blurry pixel, it can only support 55.98 Hz. Moving mouse is lagging, cannot really work on it. A huge disappointment for me...

03-11-2024I love the monitors, but I wish that the LED didnt flash when on standby. I had to paint it with black liquid electrical tape to prevent it from glowing on and off all night when the computer is in standby. Id much rather that the LED could actually be off when the monitor is sleeping. I found a forum where Dell says that they dont think this is an issue. Id give 5 stars if they hadnt made a poor decision about the LED. I shouldnt have to cover up a light - this could easily be a setting.

> 3 dayYou probably already know if you need this or not, if you’re here. It’s a highly color accurate monitor (dci-p3). So it’s good enough for most design/creative work. Check YouTube if you want. It’s expensive because of the p3 color support. Most cheap lg monitors don’t support it. Is it crucial for creative work? No. I bought it for the same reason I use a macbook - long lasting obsolescence-proof purchase decision. There are some LG monitors in a similar price range as well. Go for those if it’s cheaper, I don’t see any real difference. I bought this cos I trust Dell slightly more. Lots of cables in the box, you won’t have to buy anything else.

> 3 dayThis monitor is spectacular. if youre using a 1080p monitor between the prices of $100-$200 youre missing out. If you ever owned a mac book pro, you know the display is great. This monitor is the same or even better. The colors are very accurate. If your computer supports 4k resolution, get this monitor. easy to set up and has many ports, plug your mac, windows and gaming console at the same time. Worth for the price. Get it when is on deal.

07-11-2024This is a great monitor for everyday work. Its beautiful...what more can I say. Unfortunately, I had to return mine because it was in Chinese. The menu on the display, the stickers, everything, was in Chinese. I couldnt change it back to English because I do not know how to spell English in Chinese. The box and the content guide papers were in English. In other words, the monitor was put in the wrong box by the manufacturer and shipped to where it was not intended.
