> 3 dayThe built in hub is a game changer. I have everything I need connected to the monitor itself, and then just one cable that goes to my MacBook Pro when Im working at home. I use this for video editing mostly, which Im definitely an amateur at, and I think the picture quality is great (coming from a 2560x1080). The brightness can get to the point of bugging my eyes in a dim office, but is super helpful during the day when the sun is coming through. I dont use it for gaming, but I think Im personally so used to 144Hz that the 60Hz just doesnt cut it for me when gaming.

> 3 dayI love the monitors, but I wish that the LED didnt flash when on standby. I had to paint it with black liquid electrical tape to prevent it from glowing on and off all night when the computer is in standby. Id much rather that the LED could actually be off when the monitor is sleeping. I found a forum where Dell says that they dont think this is an issue. Id give 5 stars if they hadnt made a poor decision about the LED. I shouldnt have to cover up a light - this could easily be a setting.

> 3 dayI dont recall having issues. I dont like the joystick control on the back, but thats it. I see no bad pixels, light seems even to me. Bezel is small and it doesnt have the model name on it, which makes it harder to ID later. The bezel is small, so my web cam doesnt have much to grip on and I see a part of peeking around the bezel. The clarity looks good, I believe its pretty close to 10bit, the calibrator agreed anyway. If you do photography, this screen is worth it.

Greater than one weekIf youre using this monitor for your office, im sure it would be great, however if youre a Photographer, AVIOD!!! After 72hours I cant get this monitor colors to display correctly. Currently theres a gradient where the left side of the monitor greens are too strong and on the right, the pink hues are too strong. Called Dell and they said, you just got the monitor, send it back.

> 3 dayIve never seen this much of an aggressive backlight bleed on any monitor. This is not the result of my camera and this is very visible to the naked eye. It even has the same yellow tint in person. Not to mention the anti-glare coating isnt that good, this monitor was just unusable for me.

> 3 dayI bought this monitor to add to my trading software setup using a 43 Samsung TV with USB C function. The setup on the Dell was easy. It works seamlessly with the Dell Display Manager making it a nice addition for window management. Then I tried to plug in my Dell Ultra 7090 to use the 90W PD with DP1.4 (90w Power delivery with Display Port 1.4) and then daisy chain the Samsung 43 off it, reducing my cable use. As with all things Dell, they got this part wrong. I am disappointed because I paid top dollar for this monitor only to have it not work as depicted. You have to use the 90w PD/DP 1.4 port as the upstream port even though it is stipulated as a downstream to device and the other USB C port next to the antiquated DP plug simply wont daisy chain the 43: monitor. They nerfed the Thunderbolt so they could get around the marketing and save a few bucks and sell a few more antiquated cables. Really all any of us want is one cable to rule them all, this display falls short and does not work as promised.

> 3 dayGOOD: 1.) IPS Black is noticeably darker to the point where it was almost jarring when I first switched from my previous regular IPS monitor. It wont ever be a match for an OLED, or even a VA, but it offers a noticeable improvement. 2.) The KVM switching is so intuitive and painless that I dont think I can live without it now. Seriously, simply having all my connected USB devices automatically switch to whichever computer is currently controlling the monitor is a killer feature! 3.) Being able to hook up my laptop with a single cable for power, USB Hub, and display is also a killer feature that I can no longer live without. 4.) Excellent color calibration out of the box with an sRGB mode to make it even simpler. BAD: 1.) The stand is kinda wobbly on my standing desk, so I had to replace it with a VESA mount that was a lot more sturdy. 2.) IPS Black is still IPS with all the good and bad that that entails. As long as you understand what youre getting here then youll be very satisfied!

Greater than one weekThis is the third generation of Dell 4K 27 monitors that I own. The picture and ports on this U2723QE are great -- it replaces having a thunderbolt dock for my use case. But the stand is very flimsy and shakes at the slightly touch. I have my slightly older Dell 2720QM next to it and the U2723QEs stand is much worse. While the controls on the U2723QE are somewhat easier to use than on the 2720QM, since it has a joystick, you do have to reach behind the monitor for them. Dell supports advice to me about the stand was to buy myself a different VESA mount stand.
