Cheapest SSD , works pretty well. Huge upgrade

I purchased this drive on October 13, 2020, and it has completely failed as of 3/20/2022. I have lost all data on this drive, and am going through the RMA process with crucial.

La cosa che impressiona di più è proprio la velocità, sia in fase di boot della macchina che nella ricerca ed apertura di files e applicazioni. Speriamo sia altrettanto affidabile nel tempo.

This is a great SSD, boot times dropped significantly. Load screens on the Witcher 3 also dropped, in the time you read the helpful tip it had already loaded. If you are changing from a HDD you may need to ensure UEFI is enabled in the BIOS and enabled in the operating system. This took me 3 days to make bootable because it was set to UEFI in my BIOS but nobody told me you needed windows 10 to also read UEFI.

I purchased 3 of these mx500, One died but after jumping through some hoops got it replaced by Amazon. As far as performance is concerned, the bang for the buck is hard to deny/beat. I might have gotten a bad unit but the other 2 have been performing like champs. The replacement is still on the way, will update once it gets here / after more usage.

drive is defective and constantly is on 100 percent usage. reinstalled windows multiple times and still the same problem. I need a replacement

I always bought Crucial or Samsung, and this SSD works flawlessly

One of my favorite SSD for Mac brands... never had a problem.
