Crucial MX500 500GB 3D NAND SATA 2.5 Inch Internal SSD, up to 560MB/s - CT500MX500SSD1(Z)

Monté un PC y decidí dejar atrás los SATA convencionales para configurar un M.2 y SSD NAND. El resultado: impecable. Les he pasado a ambos el CrystalMark y la verdad que va genial. Lo defino en palabras o características:

Acquistato per sostituire lhard-disk dal mio pc. Appena sostituito non potevo credere al cambio di prestazioni, il pc si accende in meno di 10 secondi. Assolutamente consigliato.

The software Crucial uses, Acronis True Image, did not recognize the installed Crucial MX500, even though it is their go to program, and even though the SSD had been initialized (visible as Disk 1 to the Computer Management/Disk Management console in Windows 10). Frustrated, I used the support chat for help. The chat person had me download a program named Acronis TrueImageMicron_workaround.exe to fix the problem - the first red flag. The instructions devolved from there and led me to write this review. The end result: I had to figure it out for myself. I have a technical background to help me. What about the customers who dont? I cant image their frustration compared to my own. In contrast, my experience installing a Western Digital SSD was seamless. I cannot recommend a Crucial SSD.

Works perfect and super fast. Put it in usb 3 mini enclosure. Might buy another.

Went into my laptop with no problems. Tripled my storage capacity, seek times dropped a ton, and dont worry about damaging a mechanical drive while moving my laptop now

I have 3 of these in 2 computers recording video from Cameras. Very fast and quiet compared to to old WD red 2tb hard drives.

I was contemplating getting a Samsung MZ-V7S500BW 970 EVO Plus 500 GB Solid State Drive (6x faster r/w speeds) but your average user wont get the benefit of 3,500 MB/s read/write speeds - maybe if you are regularly transferring or editing files over 20Gb, so I couldnt justify the extra £45, maybe in a year or two when it is half the price.

Works as intended. Best bang for the buck when it comes to upgrading a PC. The boot time for my old Mac pro went from one minute and 30 seconds to 29 seconds.All apps are a little quicker when loading.I was pleased with the fast shipping.It arrived sooner than expected.
