I needed a little more storage space, and these days I favor SSDs over the ol spinny platter guys. When I saw this go on sale I jumped at the chance and purchased a 1TB drive. I mounted it externally using a Sabrent doohickey and quickly got the volume partitioned and formatted. Ive been using it for storage ever since with no complaints or issues. I love how quickly it loads files and the performance has been spectacular.

The 2tb drive made it possible for me to develop in windows and Linux on my older laptop. The $110 price tag for a reasonable 2nd tier name brand was too hard to pass up. I installed a 1tb drive in my dads laptop last year for almost the same price. His laptop is still going strong.

the ssd comes buggy and unuseable. basically a paperweight because of how terrible it performs .

I purchased this to replace the mechanical hard disk that was in my laptop. The install was a challenge but that can vary from laptop and manufacturer (I have an HP Pavilion X360 (laptop/tablet convertible). After install and immediate upon boot up, I noticed a significant difference in load time and processing. I can accomplish my daily tasks at a much faster rate. It has helped alot in my gaming experience and makes playing my games so much more enjoyable. The shutdown is just like the boot up of the laptop, instantaneous. If you want faster processing, and who doesnt, step up to an SSD.

ssd da 512 gb ottimo per dare velocita a comuter dotati dei vecchi hard disk . questa dimensione è lottima via di mezzo tra quello da 1tb troppo costoso, e quello da 256 piccolo e col rischio che si riempa subito.
