Computer crashing after install. No instruction and support FAQ from Crucial. cannot do firmware update, Executive software cannot recognize the installed SSD. Very Disappointed with Crucial, thought it was a reputed company.

I have an older PC that only supports Sata and this was the answer to improve my speed in apps and boot up. The other key here is the cloning software that this gives you access to. Tried the other free versions but they don’t work if you have multiple partitions in the same physical boot drive unless you want the premium versions. Their software cloned every aspect of that physical drive and cloned everything flawlessly. All data was copied to the ssd without issue.

Performance is outstanding and on par with the Samsung EVO 850. I had no issues copying OS drive over to his with the included software. I would highly recommend these drives to everyone!

Installed in my Dell Inspiron 17 5000 Series Laptop. Install was very easy as well as transfer all of the data from the disk drive. The only issue I have is occasionally it may just reboot and then the hard drive is not recognized. Usually just powering off and back on resolves this. Overall the speed increase was great.

I used an HDD in my gaming rig for years. It was good, but it came with all the disadvantages of an HDD; slow boot times, slow file loading, and noisiness. I now use this SSD to store my main OS and use the HDD to keep all my large files. The speed difference is extremely noticeable, and my system is no longer bogged down my slow read and write speeds. Time will tell how long this lasts, but so far its been great!
