> 24 hourThis is a 7mm thick drive. Theres a 2 mm glue-on gasket included to adapt it to an older 9mm drive slot. It is not the fastest drive out there. Designed in the US and assembled in Mexico. It is adequate for my backup needs. It is connected through a 3Gb/s SATA port. I use windows 10 copy/paste for backup and am able to achive 240 MB/s which translates to around 2 Gb/s transfer speed. This drive must be initialized and formatted before use. In windows 10 go to

> 24 hourIm staring at it as I write this review. My previous SSHD was getting full and I needed to replace it with one that was larger. This time I bought 2X as much as I needed. Transferred the OS onto the new SSHD but not yet installed it; waiting for the next time I power off. The old will be a backup in case I get hacked. At least 90% or more will be on the old one.

> 24 hourLo instalé en una laptop dell xps l502x que antes tardaba 20 minutos en cargar, con el mx500 tarda aproximadamente 15 segundos en cargar. La compra la realicé desde Colombia y tardó solo 1 semana.

> 24 hourReplaced a spinning disk drive in a Dell desktop with this SSD. The systems response time improved greatly, as I expected. Worked fine for nearly 5 months, but recently Dells Support Assist program running in the background is giving me intermittent no hard drive detected messages and the computer has to be rebooted. Ive done many drive replacement over the years and Ive mostly used Samsung Evo. Ive never gotten this message with those.drives and some of them are about 6+ years old now. I know sometimes drives fail, but 5 months is way too early for this. Im going to replace this drive with a Samsung before it completely fails.

> 24 hourI love these SSD drives. Theyre quiet and fast. Put this one in an old PC that I dont have a particular use for and am thinking of donating. Was easy to do the replacement and install. Loaded Windows with a recovery thumb drive. The old PC is running like new. Recommended if your old PC is slow or youre getting indications that the old drive is failing. Back it up, pop one of these in, restore just the files you really need and youre good to go.
