It is hard for me to find the time to write reviews, but felt compelled to force myself to leave feedback on this item. We just bought a new house and there were more than a two dozen disconnected coaxial cables in our attic. I spent hours trying to find the main service line with NO luck. I hooked this item up to the main service line outside, took the removable speaker up into the attic and five minutes later our internet was hooked-up. It would have taken me days had I used the any mini miny moe method! This item has already paid for itself even if I never use it again!

The tester works well and I liked that fact that the buzzer was loud enough to hear in the attic with the speaker all the way across the house. I liked the LED for those times the buzzer is too far away to be heard.

Good product but bad documentation! Use the product as shown below: 1. Unscrew the black bottom from the device 2. Attach the end with red light in the coax outlet 3. Go to the other end and connect the black bottom you unscrewed in step 1 to coax end points one by one 4. When you connect to the correct end point it will beep. 5. Works perfectly. We have a FIOS modem so only needed one of these at the user end to convert coax outlet to an internet cable outlet. Doubled the speed that we can get with WiFi.

Simple, inexpensive - perfect for me - a homeowner with coaxile running through our new house and I needed to figure out what wire went to what room

This is the basic pocket toner that I have used for years. Great build. Made of all metal.

Convenient and super easy to use. Saved myself a a service charge for the cable company to let me know which cables fed various rooms in my house.
