Ive been using this product for years with my rats -- theyre litterbox trained, and this helps keep their beds cozy and odors low.

I only bought this brand because for some reason, all Kaytee Clean & Cozy beddings were going to take 2 weeks to ship. The material is nowhere NEAR as “pillowy soft” as written on the packaging. It almost has a soft CARDBOARD feel to it?? Not only is it not soft, upon opening the package, I was assaulted with a chemically, almost nail polish/paint smell?? I can’t imagine that being good for my hamster since even PURPOSELY scented beddings aren’t good for them. I’m gonna use it for a few days and see if the scent eventually dissipates, if not, I’m just going to dump it out entirely. Real disappointed, especially considering the higher price tag when compared to Kaytee whose never failed me.

I was not impressed with this bedding. It is very rough and scratchy feeling in texture almost like ground up bits of cardboard. Seemed to absorb ok and clean up wasnt any worse than usual but just a very rough texture for bedding.

I like the carefresh complete way better,even though the complete is not as soft as this stuff.....this stuff does not absorb as well .I put at lease an inch and a half to 2 inches in Gomer and Beaufords kitchen area,with the complete I would put less and haveto spot clean it every other day....with this stuff,I am cleaning almost the whole kitchen area everyday,and it does absolutely nothing for smell.

Keeps the smell down for our classroom guinea pigs.

I raise show quality utility pigeons and their hefty size breaks a lot of eggs. But, this cushy bedding aids with saving the eggs. It is dense enough to stay out in the box.
