> 24 hourI bought this for my wife who was always having trouble with her HP printer. I myself have a Canon Pixma iP6000D and have had great success with it. The iP2600 is smaller, simpler and good-looking in black. And works just as well.

> 24 hourI, like some others stated, got this little guy from Walmart for under thirty last month. I was expecting little for such a price but definitely got more than I paid for! 1. This printer is fast. Speedy for an entry level printer. 2. I am printing a lot of screens from a game, so full color. I had to play with the settings quite a lot to get the look I wanted. I love the Vivid Photo setting. Really makes the colors pop. 3. I have learned paper really makes the print job, so I am using some GREAT Matte Photo Paper by Printworks. (Available here on Amazon.) Make sure to set the paper to High Resolution in the settings! 4. Some one mentioned in their review that they could not print from the last page. That setting is available, under Page Setup in the settings. 5. It looks good! (But the black coating picks up prints much too well for my liking.) Cons: I think Canon should be ashamed of the racket on ink that they have going. At the rate I print, I would be using two carts a month of color. Nearly fifty a month, more than the printer cost!! After much research, I found Hobbicolors ink on Ebay. WOW! That ink is BETTER than the OEM ink. I tried some ink from Amazon, but it was not as good, watered down. I have refilled twice now and no problems with Hobbicolors. I am just staring at my prints in awe. It is a little noisy, but you can turn on quiet mode in the printer settings. It prints a little slower, but I am not in all that much of a hurry. I am just a hobbyist, not a graphic designer or anything, so I can definitely recommend this printer for the everyday user.

> 24 hourThe new printer straight out of the box showed a jam signal. The Canon service technician on the phone could not help us. We are suppose to find a Canon service dealer and have them repair it.

> 24 hourI bought this because it was cheaper and easier than to get my broken one of the same model serviced, plus I had a few of the ink cartridges and I didnt want those to go to waste. The printer works as stated and is a great basic printer for anybody. I received the item quickly and with no issues. Great transaction!

> 24 hourWhile went to buy the Ink for my HP Photosmart printer, I noticed this printer from Canon for just $30 and bought this one without any second thought ($30 is way cheaper than the HP inks). Installation went without an issue on my Vista PC, and I am not finding printing speed an issue. So far so good. I prefer to stay with Canon than HP for following reasons. 1) HP uses color ink even when choosing black printing. Though I print black and white prints, but HP makes me to buy color inks more often than b&w 2) HP expires the ink after some period. HP wants to generate constant money flow, but IMO this is not a way to do. Thanks Suriya.

> 24 hourI bought this printer several months ago for thirty bucks at a big-box discount retail store. (Cant remember whether there was also a USB cable in the box; there might have been. I have plenty of them at home so its not a big deal for me either way.) At the time my main home printer was a fancy Canon multifunction inkjet. I got the IP2600 because its small and lightweight. Although not intended for use as a portable printer, it was easy to take along with my laptop, to the home of an older relative for whom I was doing some word processing. Including printing out 5 x 7 updated pages for her address/phone book. It was perfect for that project. Since that time, my older Canon multifunction inkjet machine bit the dust, and the new Canon multifunction inkjet I bought to replace it? Proved to be an unstable ink-gobbling diva and went back to Costco. As a result, this modest little printer has served as my main home printer for several weeks. I recently purchased a

> 24 hourI picked one of these up at Walmart years ago and have been happy with the quality of the prints, (though as others have stated, it does drink a lot of ink!). The main problem I have had started about a year after I got it. I dont use it very often, either. The front door ALWAYS triggers an error message that the door is not open and stops printing. This happens EVERY TIME, and the DOOR IS MOST DEFINITELY OPEN. I eventually have to actually sit next to the printer and hold the door down with force, in order to get the printing done. I have searched and havent found many other cases of this happening, so I have no idea what the issue is. I was always going to try to trick the sensor, but never got around to it. The quality is good, but I will probably go with an Epson next time around. I had Epsons first model color ink jet printer and it was a beast! Huge, heavy, and very expensive. But you know what? Even when I finally put it out to pasture when it was 12 years old, it still worked! It was a real workhorse. No more Canon printers for me.

> 24 hourAs soon as I opened the box I removed the printer and set it up. I immediately discovered that the paper tray was detached and broken. I then tried to print and found that the flashing yellow light indicated a problem that could not be repaired. I had previously owned two identical printers, and wanted one just like it. The manufacturer has discontinued the model, which is why I purchased the used Canon printer. The previous two Canon printers that I had owned had the same problem. I took each of them to two technicians and both of them told me that they could not be repaired. Why did the seller send me a printer that did not work from the beginning? Of course I had prepaid for my order, using a credit card. When I reported to the seller that the machine was not working he quickly offered to refund my purchase price. We had been communicating through the Amazon e-mail process. I waited to receive the sellers check and nothing happened. When I inquired he then asked me to return the nonworking printer and THEN he would send a refund. I complied with his request. I wrapped the printer carefully and sent it by UPS immediately. When I tracked UPS I learned that it was delivered to the owner at his home. STILL there has been no response from the seller, and no refund! I have documented all our correspondence.
