My shampoo came in the mail with the nozzle broken off and then leaked into the package all over the other items. I’m not able to get a return or refund.

I will start by saying that I have been using burts bees baby wash for a few months now and that I have noticed the soap has been more watery each time I order. This is not because you buy from amazon as other people have stated on their reviews. I go to department stores such as Target, Walmart, Babies R Us, etc. and notice that the Burts Bees soap is the same way. The company probably changed the ingredients. I still enjoy this wash very much. My son had very sensitive skin(gets it from me) & we have tried many different brands and this is the only one that doesnt cause him to break out in a rash. ***** if you are trying to figure out which burts bees baby wash product to purchase: Calming: I found it did not do anything for EITHER of my babies nor myself. I have noticed that this is the most watery product. This also leaves a weird film in the bath tub and is not very bubbly. I noticed I had to use twice as much than usual and went through my bottles much much quicker. Original: this is the best smelling soap. It is watery but not as much as the calming. Fragrance free: pretty self explanatory (will not make baby smell good). This soap is much thicker than the other two options. I put a lightly scented lotion on the kids anyways so I found I didnt need the extra frangrance. Definitely get more bubbles in the bath tub also!

Great product. Love the smell too. Have used for all 4 of my children. Just discovered the larger size online with my 4th. Have ordered several times and with my last order, it wasnt packaged well (had lots of room to move around in the box) and the pump part had popped up and leaked soap all in the box. Was leaking through the box when it arrived. I asked for a partial refund, but the sellers gave a 100% refund to make sure all was right. Definitely recommend product. :)

I thought I was doing my newborn a favor by buying all natural products. After using this body wash for 5 months my baby developed cradle cap and eczema that would only clear up by using Cetaphyl RestoraDerm body wash and lotion which costs about $15 a bottle. The first thing you should consider before buying ANY product that has so many flowers or other possible allergens is that your baby could actually have an allergic reaction to something in the concoction. My baby did not have an overnight reaction, but a long, hard to pinpoint reaction. I also used the baby bee diaper cream and my pediatrician told me to stop using it because it was making her little folds irritated because of the lavender. I digress... two days after discontinuing the baby bee shampoo, the eczema cleared up. I may have a super sensitive baby, but I wanted others to know that buying all natural products can be great - you just have to know exactly what you are putting on their skin (I am in alternative medicine as a career and it killed me to think about putting chemicals on her skin). The skin is the largest organ in the body and whatever you put on the skin absorbs directly into the body. I fought the idea of using a body wash that wasnt all natural even as simple as dove (which has SLS and isnt natural, but considered by many to be safe), but discontinuing this product actually has saved by precious little ones skin from the red, dry patches that itched and cradle cap that wouldnt go away even after a 3 week dose of hydrocortisone cream. Now, I just use the cetaphyl body wash and lotion and put a little lotion on her head and she is absolutely wonderful. I have never written a review on a product and I have been purchasing products on amazon by the truckload since I have had my baby because the prices are so great and its so convenient, but please be wary of all the possible allergens in all the natural products. I cant believe that I actually made her skin worse by doing something I thought was good for her. Last point - it is a great deal to buy three of these bottles if they work for you and your baby, but try it first. I bought three bottles and after 5 months only used about 1/3 of a bottle and now have 2 unopened bottles that I cant use. Update - Jan 2013 After about a month of using the cetaphyl I switched to unscented baby Castille soap and moisturizing her with almond oil and her skin is still fine w/ no eczema :)

Love this baby wash for my kids! It has a EWG rating of 1 so you can feel good about using it on your kids. I used to use California Baby Sensitive Baby Shampoo and Wash for my kids but one has bouts of eczema. I was looking for a wash that was just as gentle but more creamy and less drying for my kids. Burts Bees fits the bill. It has a mild scent that is pleasant but not overpowering. I also use a little less soap than I did with the California Baby one as this one lathers up very well. I still end up using a separate conditioner but Im ok with that - my kids have a lot of hair. The only minor gripe is that it doesnt come in a pump like California Baby (nice for doing one-handed pump action while using the other hand to prop the baby up). And it is of course on the pricier side of baby washes, but if you care about EWG ratings like I do, then you know its worth it. It isnt organic but thats ok for me as long as the EWG rating is good.

I’ve used this for my kid for 4 years. It’s super gentle, suds up well, and smells good. It’s worth the price for a pure and natural soap. I used it on her when she was an infant until now. It does not strip her skin of moisture. Will continue to buy.
