Burts Bees Baby Shampoo & Wash , Calming with Lavender, Tear-Free, Pediatrician Tested, 98.9% Natural Origin, 21 Oz Bottle (Single)

I have been using this on my boys for years. I do like it for a lot of reasons. It is made almost entirely of natural ingredients (I wont put anything unsafe on my boys) It has a pleasant scent It is naturally tear-free (a must for my kids) It makes wonderful bubbles and can double as a bubble bath potion It cleans well, leaves their skin soft, and isnt drying It rinses off easily and out of hair easily My boys smell really nice after their bath I would have given it a 5 stars, but... The reason for the nice scent is fragrance. I have seen other Burts Bees Baby Products that specify if the fragrance comes from natural-plant based ingredients. This one doesnt. Fragrance is listed in the Environmental Working Groupss website as a toxin. If it is just listed as fragrance, it usually means it is synthetic. It isnt 100% plant-based toxin-free ingredients. If it was, I would have definitely given it a 5 star rating. However, it is a good quality product, and I still feel okay using it on my sons. It is just that nowadays, you can find products that are made with 100% plant-based ingredients and perform just as well, or better, than this one. I am going to be switching to another product that smells even better, but the scent comes from essential oils that are 100% natural. That being said, I have used this for years, and I dont regret it one bit!

Babies smell nice! But thats not by accident. They smell nice because of the wash and lotion their mommies put on their little bodies. Without that, they smell like sour milk, diapers, and well, REAL baby. But whats in all of those washes and lotions? Dont ask! I love Burts Bees products, and the baby wash is no exception. I like that it smells so nice, but I like even more that its natural and gentle. The ingredients arent scary like some others. Granted, its not 100% crunchy granola pure, but its pretty darned good. Both of my babies have used this from their first bath (I even made the nurse use it in the hospital when she bathed baby #2!), and I wouldnt use anything else. Its pricey, but I think its well worth it for something that doesnt dry them out. Did I mention that it smells AMAZING? Buying it in the 3-pack was a smart move, since that will probably last us the better part of a year--no joke! A little goes a long way!

This used to be my go-to baby wash for my toddler. It was gentle, made him smell great and the rich formula helped keep his skin moisturized. My recent purchase had a slightly different bottle but a completely different baby wash. Now it seems completely watered down. I was so disappointed that I contacted Burt’s Bees/Clorox and am still waiting to hear back.

I just love this shampoo!
