My boyfriend and I have used this protein powder for years. The chocolate milkshake flavor is very nice and it blends wonderfully with just water. Not grainy, and unlike other protein powders this one doesnt cause indigestion. I also love the option of a 10lb bag. Just wish the peanut butter flavor came in the 10lb because that flavor is also very great tasting.

Ive tried a few of the whey protein powders and usually add some lowfat milk with it to provide a meal replacement as well as a good portion of my daily protein. Two things that I like about Syntha 6 compared to others. First, its the protein in one scoop not two. Compared to muscle milk, thats a bonus because two scoops is hard to shake up and get integrated into a liquid like milk or water. Second, the taste. You always feel like theres going to be some kind of compromise in taste but I can honestly say that this one is really quite tasty. Just subscribed again to get these every few months and I use it daily or nearly so. Definitely worth a try with a small can to see if it works for you.

Long story short, ive purchased this product for years. Both the syntha-6 vanilla and the chocolate milkshake flavors are my absolute favorite protein shakes based on the flavor alone, i use them as a meal replacement when i am in a hurry and it was almost a treat. I purchased it about 3-4 months ago and just recently ran of my previous bottle, and today i got this one and i prepared it like i regularly do but the flavor was very much off, i mean, it taste similar, just not as yummy as the previous one, so beware, BSN may have switched the formula to cut costs while also raising the price of the product, a shame because it went from my favorite to my im not so sure anymore.

Im not a body builder or a hard core gym freak, but I do what I need to do to stay healthy. I take a pre-workout and protien shake twice a day, once in the morning and once immediatly after my workout and thats all the workout supplements I take. Ive used ON Gold Standard, Dymatize Elite, and Scivation Whey. I think they are all great and have a good taste and are also easy to mix, but Im leaning more towards the Syntha-6. First let me say that the cake batter is the best tasting protien Ive ever had, even my wife liked it (and shes very picky). Secondly, the mixability is good but I use the blender ball and that always gets it done. I did try to mix it one day without the blender ball and had some clumps, but nothing too bad. I felt like I had a noticable difference in the performance as well. I started taking syntha 6 after I took about 7-8 months off from the gym and I wasnt taking anything that entire time. I was literally starting out fresh. Ive done this before and I knew the first 2-3 weeks would be the worst. Muscles swelling, cramps, aching and so forth, HOWEVER I had none of that. This was the first time I didnt have cramps or severe swelling. I didnt hold back either, I pushed and did the force rep method and even some drop sets. The Syntha-6 gave me quick recovery times and excellent support for muscle growth. It was immediate. I had people asking me if I had been working out by week 2. They could see it that fast. 2 scoops in the morning every day (on days and off days) and then 2 scoops immediatly after your work out will get it done. This is an excellent protien for the money and worth the try. Im going to stick with this product for the long haul.

This is a comprehensive review, comparing Dymatize Nutrition Elite Gourmet, Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey Gold Standard, and BSN Syntha-6 Protein Powder, all in strawberry flavor. I have evaluated the protein based on price, taste, mixability, protein content, nutritional facts, and amino acids. I have found the best concoction to be half Dymatize and half Syntha-6. It has a great flavor (a big step up from Dymatize alone) with the fullness Dymatize has to offer.

Chocolate is my go to, 2 scoops after my workouts. I’d like to try the PB flavor but every new flavor I’ve tried is nasty besides the chocolate and the chocolate is still not that great, 7/10 on the flavor scale.

Mixes well with milk, Texture is a bit different since its a whey/casein mixture then pure whey, But its very drinkable, I mixed it with a scoop of Boost Vanilla to get my needed vitamins in as well as protein for breakfast, Im just a normal non body builder type looking to replace breakfast meals with a shake. This fits my needs. Taste is a generic vanilla, I cant tell the difference between it and boost vanilla powder, The after taste has a slight very slight cardboard flavor that dissipates pretty quickly. Overall its a 4/5 its my 2nd protein powder Ive ever tried, with Ghost Whey being the first and preferred. But this is good too. Will have to try the cookies and cream flavor to get a lil chocolate in there. UPDATE: Picked up the 5lb jug of the vanilla, Ive learned to love the taste, and the digestive enzymes they add REALLY HELP With the Gas/bloating issues other products may provide, this one does not give me gas or bloating!! LOVE THIS PRODUCT!
