Brother QL-700 High-Speed, Professional Label Printer

Im an engineering manager (not that makes me smart) in the silicon valley and could not get the software to work. the sw expects you to know the dimensions of the tape even though dimensions are not marked on the tape cartridge. You try to print and the print queue just disappears without any suggestion of what the printer doesnt like. You start guessing about tape cartridge sizes but nothing works. You plug in the USB and there is no echo from windows about a new device connected (like you get with USB flash) . Reboot, delete sw, reboot, reload software, same problem, no label. Sometimes the basic program works and sometimes not. The advanced program never works. Brother needs to reimburse me the lost time. tech support?? joke put me down for acceptable losses. dont walk from this printer, run!

Great printer. I have the QL-500, and this is very comparable with a few added features.

Love the large size labels it make. Tons of clip art picturea to add to your label . Thers a features that let you captured any pic and inserr in your lables. cery fast. Make great shipping lables.

Printer works really great! I ended up buying another printer and might buy a third! I recommend buying this printer!

It works perfectly for printing my own Shipping labels but I do wish it printed bigger labels. Theyre pretty small and sometimes they have to type it in at the post office because it wont scan. Just make sure you put it on the package perfectly straight across and not over a curve or bunp on the package... I ship odd shaped items like cups

The drop in labels make it easy to switch up tasks. When I bought it the price was good. The labels could be costly but it is a brother product and puts out excellent quality.

Seriously, I freaking love this thing it is fast, quiet, reliable, the software is easy to use. Saves me sooooo much time being able to hook it up to a spreadsheet and bing bang boom Im printing 600 labels for every item in my shop. Even after one of my workers knocked the thing off the table and broke the top bit and jammed it up, its still chugging along. My only complaint is that the sample cartridges it comes with are NOT re-usable. Why arent all of the cartridges re-usable by default? So make sure you get a compatible cartridge holder thats re-usable so your replacement rolls can actually be used.
