> 3 dayBNX 20x25x1 MERV 8 Air Filter 4 Pack - MADE IN USA - Electrostatic Pleated Air Conditioner HVAC AC Fur Fits perfectly and was a snap to put into the furnace. just have to watch out of the arrow as the direction of the air flow. So far so good. I have 2 units. so this will last me a couple of months. it is a Merv 8. I typically use these in the winter as there are no as much pollens. in the spring and Fall, I typically move up to the higher Merv rating ones for allergies. I would recommend these air filters. Good pricing.

> 3 dayThe photos show how well this filter works. I taped over part of it to show the difference between when it was new and after being used for two months. A Merv 8 filter is not the highest level of filtration, but my system cannot handle a super high efficiency filter as it slows the system down and cuts down on flow rate. It seems to be as well made and function as well as other big name filters you might get at a big box store. The only question is how it compares price wise to others on the market.

> 3 dayI change the air filters in our house monthly due to allergens and family members who get sick easily. So finding some that are a great value but are also sturdy, easy to replace and work well is very important. These were very easy to install and the price point was GREAT! Now as far as how well they work I can’t really say exactly because it hasn’t come time to change them however they are thick and not just super paper thin. So as of this point I would recommend these filters and will be purchasing more from this seller. If something changes when I change them I’ll update my review.

Greater than one weekI am very happy with these filters and would buy them again. Pros * Made in the USA! * Great price, these were 10 for $64.99 so $6.49 each, thats great for a quality filter * they are the correct size * They are a MERV 8 which is a middle of the road filter as far as performance, which is nice. I have an HVAC tech as a friend and he says you dont want one that filters too well because it will not flow enough air. This one is great because its in the middle, it gets the small stuff, but allows your HVAC to breathe as well. * They came well packaged and are not damaged. *These work on odors, pet dander, allergens, dust, lint, mold, dust mites Cons * they werent free * Seriously I dont have anything

> 3 dayThis is bargain for a years supply of MERV 8 filters. They are a perfect fit for my return air grill and they do a great job of filtering out particles from the air, helping to extend the life of my a/c. Overall, it does a good job and I like the MERV 8 rating on this air filter and the price is excellent.

Greater than one weekBecause our garage is my shop, we have to replace our filters much more frequently than most. Typically I replace ours every two weeks. There’s a point of diminishing returns and at the rate we replace ours, it’s not economically feasible to pay more than a few dollars for each filter. There’s a lot of gimmicks with filters that attempt to trick the consumer into thinking that spending more on a filter or being able to filter the smallest particles is somehow better. The finer the filter element, the harder your air exchanger has to work. This is a situation where you need to be careful because you can easily damage your system or cause premature failure resulting in a very expensive repair or replacement bill. Most systems should be able to handle MERV8 filters and MERV11 should be be maximum. Beyond this, your system works too hard and your filters will clog rapidly. HEPA filters should never be used. These filters are on the top end of filtering for us so they can’t be used long anyway. They fit as they should and the price is unbeatable. In the big box stores our filter is between $15-30 per single filter. These are far more affordable and I can afford to switch them out much earlier than I would otherwise. They’ve performed very well so far and appear to be filter as they should for our needs.

> 3 dayI like the feel of them - they seem to be solid and durable feeling. I also like that they are not individually wrap each filter since all that plastic is not needed. I like that the MERV rating is obvious and bold in the packaging. I live to run a low MERV pleated filter to keep static pressures low. Good to see that they are made in the USA too!!

> 3 dayI always seem to forget to order or pickup a new filter and its good to change them a couple times a year. I live in an area where our forced air furnace is running all winter long and AC all summer. Its good to order a couple to use as backups and have them ready so I can change them to keep my furnace running in tip top shape and the air in the house nice and clean I have two cats and a dog so there is a lot of dander and fur all around. These filters are perfect from keeping that from circulating around the house and getting into the blower motor on the furnace. The cardboard is stiff enough to retain its shape but not super sturdy The pleats and reinforcements in the filter are quality. These have a great value. Having a 5 pack that costs about the same as 2 at a big box store is a huge plus. The quality is the same or better.
