I regularly try other brand filters in an effort to save money. These appear to work as well as the others, and last as long. Recommended!

Theres a lot of mumbo jumbo tech like electrostatic filtration technology for superior air flow and low air resistance while maintaining the highest grade level of filtration but does it stand up to the filtration needs? Yes, yes it does. Filters just as needed, doesnt smell musky. I have noticed a significant reduction in dust in my home. The air feels cleaner and fresher. I would highly recommend this filter to anyone looking to improve the air quality in their home.

Great filters for my ac. My unit uses 2 at a time so this should keep my air clean for a good while.

These are fine filters, working as advertised. They seem very compatible to the other MERV 8 filters I have been using. Two observations about them: First, as you can see in the photos, these are jus a little bit larger than the other filters Ive been using, by about 1/8 square - which is consistent with how their true dimensions are listed, so that is all accurate. For me as a practical matter, that makes them a little snugger in my duct than ideal but they still fit - so check your clearances. Also, for information, the box they delivered in was larger than necessary for regular storage, so I will likely end up transferring them to my old filter boxes. They work fine and seem to filter well. As advertised,

6 16x20x1 for $40? Amazing! We struggle to find this size in the stores around us. When we do find one its usually about $40 for just two. These fit perfectly and were super easy to just pop into place. I would def recommend these and we will probably be coming back for more if they still have our size. Im really happy with the value for quality on these.

What can I say, you can never have enough good air filters. This one covers all your basic needs.

These are the perfect size for building a DIY air purifier from a standard box fan. Filters have the standard build quality you would expect, with cardboard reinforcement on only one side (away from the direction of airflow) to keep the filter media from ballooning. Using the lower MERV 8 rated filters with a fan blowing in towards the filter cube is an effective option for filtering out construction dust. Im running this filter box to reduce dust in a room where I was cutting sheets of MDF. For filtering out allergens I would go with a higher MERV 13 rating and probably aim the fan upwards (out of the box).

I knocked off a star because a lot of these had some slight damage (the Amazon packaging wasnt damaged and the box had plenty of padding in it). Though all are usable. The filter media seems nice, and they are both metal and cardboard reinforced. A lot of cheaper filters will skimp on the metal to save cost, but that usually causes the filters to deform with high airflow. Nice to see these have that. They are also made in the USA which is nice to see. Air flow is good as well, no noticeable decrease in airflow when using.
