> 24 hourThese BNX 20x20x1 filters worked well in my Air Conditioning unit. They are rated Merv 8 so they are good for dust/lint, pet dander, pollen, mold spores and dust mites but not for smoke or microscopic allergens. At $12.50 per filter, they are a bit pricey compared to other brands of Merv 8 filters you can order on Amazon. You may want to choose another brand if you plan to replace your filters every 3 months (as recommended).

> 24 hourI think Merv 8 filters are the best your money can buy. They are not too restrictive and dont cause A-coil freezing in the summer months due to poor airflow. You can use the higher Merv filters, but they require you to be more on top of your filter maintenance. Obviously, if you have allergies, you have no choice but to use the higher Merv filters and just be more proactive. - Filters are well constructed with a rigid card stock which makes inserting and removing easy - Metal mesh to help the filter from buckling if you dont get to it in time to replace it and it becomes really dirty - No sacrifices were made on the construction. I would say it is comparable to a 3M filter which sells for a lot more. I am really pleased with the filter and now it is on my Amazon reorder list.

> 24 hourThis is a set of two disposable filters. They arrived in good condition. I received the size that I ordered, and they fit my HVAC perfectly. I like that they are manufactured using advanced technology.

> 24 hourI have run this filter for about 30 days. I look at my filters after 30 days usually. This one looked like it had been in 90 days - my max timeframe. I dont notice any degraded airflow and it is grabbing a lot more junk than a regular filter would. I do see value in these if you get a 4pk, but just one is overpriced. The filter is built well, appears to be glued in well, and has a metal reinforcement. Ill see how we do over the next 60 days and update my review if needed.

> 24 hourAnyone who owns a 100+ year-old home knows that old homes seem to produce more dust than newer homes. (A friend of mine once called this The Grime of Ages.) As the owner of such a home, it is important to me to have an electrostatically charged air filter that is more effective than standard fiberglass filters. The more I can do to filter airborne dust from the air, the cleaner my old house stays. The filters seem well constructed with cardboard frames and wire mesh on one side. They fit my 20X20 return-air spaces perfectly. These filters are manufactured in Houston, Texas using recycled cardboard. They may be slightly more expensive than other MERV 8 filters manufactured in other countries, but supporting sustainable American manufacturing is well worth spending a little more.

> 24 hourI have used several different brands of air filters. Lately, we have been buying the economy packs from the orange Big Box store. However, I have noticed that the filters from the big box stores at this price point are flimsy and cheaply made. These filters by contrast are strong and appear to be well made. The filter material itself is slightly thicker and denser, and I feel like overall I will be getting a better quality filter.
