I purchased bc my tortoise needed a bigger heat pad for the winter. Its working as advertised. I love the control figure. The advertisement is truthful, its not a radiating heat, but works none the less. And great price.

The T-stat works well but the double stick tape on the heating pad didnt hold up at all. The tape actually stuck really well to my reptile tank but it came loose from the heating pad within a few days...I have tried reattaching the heating pad but it simply falls off within a couple of days.

The thermostat has a locking thing... well I didnt know about it but my husband did and showed me how to properly plug the heating mat into the thermostat... currently testing it out and using it to help a Rainbow stag beetle larva grow :)

The first two days I was concerned something was a bit off for either the heat pad or the thermostat (both are brand new) as it wouldnt get up to my set temperature. Everything is reading out right now so its doing its job!

temp wont set and customer service is awful. my snake could die cuz its too cold, they dont offer refunds, but will ship you a new one. I dont want another one i want to try another brand. It never heated any of my mats. Its a garbage chinese product. They didnt even care about my snakes health.

I purchased this for my indoor tortoise enclosure. I placed in on the outside on the glass and pushed his hide up to it so my tortoise always had a nice warm spot even when he wasnt directly under his light. My tortoise loves this heating pad, he always nestles right up against the side wall. Ive used this now for a little over 2 months and havent had any issues I have been completely satisfied.

I bought this to create a 100F warming chamber for yogurt making. I put the heater and probe into an insulated container. The probe and heater were separated by 12 inches. The probe is near the top of the container, and the pad is on the bottom. The starting temperature was 65F and the thermostat was set for a target of 100F. Temperature rose slowly and predictably until the temperature reached 90. Then the indicator continued to show a temperature rise, at a high rate of change. When it reached the maximum, the display shifted to error E2. I checked the container and it was barely warm. The heating pad was also barely warm. I removed the probe and applied ice to cool it down, but the E2 would not clear after several power resets. Second test: I set the target temperature to 95F. This time I put a known reliable thermometer in the case. As before, at first the temperature reading rose slowly but then it passed 95F and rapidly headed into another E2 error. The independent thermostat indicated that the temperature had never risen past 71F. As other 1 level reviewers posted, some of these just do not work. I am returning this and buying a simpler mechanical thermostat.

I bought this product and its not getting warm enough, I have it set to the max temp of 108F and its reading at 92 on a heat gun so its not heating thru the glass and the quarter inch of substrate. Im very disappointed in this product, Im able to touch the pad with no issues. I would love to think I have a defective product but all in all, the product sucks. I think Im continuing to use it because im hoping the Lord generate some extra power into it but in reality ........... I know its hopeless

Not accurate. Was around 4 degrees off compared to other thermostats. Go with inkbird thermostat. Heating mat seemed to be working.

Used for our ball python. Exactly what we needed. And much cheaper than the pet store.
