> 3 dayI had to replace my 10 year old monitor when it finally blew up. I wanted something nice but affordable. This unit was indeed a good price at the moment I was shopping. I wanted to replace my secondary monitor as well, but wanted to try one of these before adding another. Bad decision. The first one arrived and I was instantly in love. Colors are bright, the frame is very, very thin, and the display is very crisp. Im no longer much of a gamer, so I cant comment on using one for gaming, but for all of my needs this one was perfect. The day after receiving the monitor, I came back to buy another one, but there were none to be had unless I wanted to pay double what Id paid for the first one. I was patient and waited. After a few weeks it came back at the lower price and I snagged a second one. An hour after I ordered my second one, they were out of stock at the low price again. Im not sure I would pay the regular retail price for this monitor, but then again Im frugal. For a monitor in my price range this was far beyond the quality that I expected. Ultimately I added an inexpensive dual monitor arm and Ive never been so pleased with a setup in my life. Ive had the first monitor about a month, so I cant yet speak to its long-term performance, but the initial impression is that these are the nicest monitors Ive ever used.

> 3 dayMy workstation consists of 4 monitors that I use to stare at charts and other small, fast moving data for hours at a time. Ive been getting headaches and having trouble focusing lately so I figured it may be time for an upgrade. I ordered one of these monitors to see if the eyecare technology was worth the hype. The difference in this display vs the 3 older ones I have is just incredible. The lighting is even and clean. I dont really know how to explain it but it just feels much more natural to look at. The issue Ive had with every monitor is probably the same as most people. I felt like I was always having to play with the brightness and contrast when bouncing back and forth between programs with a darker background and reading documents with a white background. This has solved that issue with its automatic light sensing and eyecare technology. The price is also spectacular for what this monitor offers. Ill be ordering 3 more to update the rest. Thanks BenQ! Update: Its been 7 months now with zero issues. Update: Almost a year now and still no issues. Also a small plus Ive noticed.. The plastic has a matte finish and is easy to clean. Other monitors Ive had start to look old quickly because the smooth plastic scratches easily while youre dusting it. Might not mean much to most people but Im a nut and thought it was worth mentioning.

> 3 dayIt was a great product up until recently. It’s been about 2 years and 8 months since I ordered two of these. Last month, the first one completely died. Plugged in with multiple cables, wouldn’t even turn on. Now the button appears to be stuck on the second one, meaning the menu is ALWAYS being scrolled through. I’ve tried closing it, cleaning around the button being pressed, pressing it from multiple angles to see if it was stuck. I’ve had cheaper monitors that lasted for triple the time I’ve had these. Support was useless when I contacted them and never responded to any of my emails. Embarrassing for a company like BENQ to still have these problems.

> 3 dayI purchased these monitors because I needed to work from home due to my states stay at home order. For the first week, I was only using my laptop for work and it was not a pleasant experience. Once I realized how unproductive I was and the SAH order was going to last longer than anticipated I knew I needed monitors. I did some research and at the time Amazon wasnt shipping most monitors for 3 weeks. I needed to receive something faster than that. I found these and ordered two because Amazon was shipping in a few days. I also saw the amazon reviews were generally positive. The cherry on top was that they werent terribly expensive. A few days later they arrived and I havent looked back since. Overall Im very please with the monitors. Everything looks crisp and I think theyre great value. The feature set is impressive particularly the low blue light and intelligent lighting. Theres a plethora of connector ports too for any situation. I would definitely recommend these again.

> 3 dayI purchased this as a second monitor and decided to go a little bigger and this was a great price to size choice for me. The colors dont feel as good to me as my other monitor, but it delivers in its size, decently thin bezel, and the speakers are a nice addition too. (The speakers arent the greatest, but they certainly do the job of saving you a few bucks)

> 3 dayI was looking for a new computer screen, and I had bought one recently, but it was burning my eyes with just a few minutes of use. I have a vision condition already, so I needed a screen that minimized discomfort as much as possible. I only just bought this BenQ screen and started using it only recently, but right away I notice it is A LOT easier on the eyes. I imagine it will be a lot easier over time compared to the other screen I had, and possibly many other screens out there. All in all, very happy so far with my purchase. Great price for the screen size, and great for comfortability on the eyes. Thank you BenQ!

12-11-2024I dont really see the sensor being useful other than if you want the brightness to adjust according to your environment.

> 3 dayI bought this monitor in April of 2021 and a few months later had my first experience of turning it on and the screen was rapidly pulsing. I called customer support and they led me through thirty minutes of troubleshooting that did not solve it. I was out of the return window with Amazon. Four days later I turned it on and it was fine. Fast forward another few months and same problem, wait a few days its back to normal. This cycle continued over and over. I contacted customer support a second time in mid October 2022 and ended up paying $20 to package and ship (they paid shipping) it back to them to fix. I just got it back and its working great - I hope it stays that way.

> 3 dayI bought two of the same monitors, once in 2019 and have been using it since. I recently bought another one for work, and I noticed a lot of differences from the older model. The framework around the screen is a little bit bigger but the screen is a little bit darker.
