> 3 dayI use this monitor to connect it to my work laptop through an HDMI cable, so I dont have to stare at a 13 laptop screen all day when working from home. The image on the BenQ monitor is not sharp. I can still read and I love the size (I can put 2 documents next to each other on the screen) but its just not as sharp as would be on my work laptop. Also as of a couple of days, the monitor goes to sleep when I shut the laptop closed, where is in the first week it would keep running which was great as I dont need my laptop open anymore when using the BenQ monitor, and it also preserved my laptop battery. Now BenQ just goes to sleep and I cannot wake it up so I can only work when laptop stays open. I didnt do any changes to the monitor settings so not sure what this is about.

> 3 dayLike: If you are on a budget this is a really good monitor. I usually play games on my Dell G3 Laptop and I wanted a monitor with a big screen. Well, I found this monitor while its on sale. Finally received it and it was quick when it comes to shipping. The packaging was very clean. It was very easy to setup and you do not need any tools to set this up. The video looks great. I would have bought one with 144hz 1ms for gaming, but I’m on a budget. I would go all out if I was more into first person shooting games, but it does it’s job. I’m going to purchase another one. I also love how BenQ provided the hdmi cable. That’s a plus in my books since I don’t need to purchase one. Other than that I have no issues with it. Works great with my eyes since it uses that special feature to turn off the blue light. Great for long lasting gaming without stressing my eyes since I play World of Warcraft Classic. Also love how thin the boarders are. Dislike: The speaker on the monitor are way too low. Thats expected on any monitor in my books. That’s the only thing I dislike about this monitor. Other than that I’m still giving this monitor a 5 stars since I’m just using this as a monitor. If I wanted great sound then I would rather buy external speakers. I’m more in it for the picture. Check out the photos I posted and hope this helps.

> 3 dayThis is the 4th 27 BenQ monitor I have ordered. I purchased two for my subordinates at an old job and 2 for myself in my new work-from-home position. They have proven to be reliable monitors though I THOUGHT I was going to have problems with this last one as it didnt power-up initially. However, it did and has continued to work seamlessly as the others have. The price is great for a large hunk of screen real estate. This monitor has great sound even without external speakers. It has both HDMI and VGA inputs to suit your needs. No USB input for an external USB camera but your computer should suffice. All in all, I would definitely buy a BenQ again, a name not many know but is a great buy for sure!

> 3 dayI purchased this as a second monitor and decided to go a little bigger and this was a great price to size choice for me. The colors dont feel as good to me as my other monitor, but it delivers in its size, decently thin bezel, and the speakers are a nice addition too. (The speakers arent the greatest, but they certainly do the job of saving you a few bucks)

> 3 dayEasy to assemble, sturdy, and very good quality. I use it for office work and movies. No reason to spend more.

Greater than one week11-3-2020 --I had email and phone conversation with BenQ Customer support. None of their recommendations fixed the issue, which is that the screen goes black for 2 seconds 20X -40X a day. This monitor is used for Work, so in addition to being irritating, the situation is also disruptive, as I work from home like so many today, and in front of my monitor from 8am to 6pm. After none of the recommendations worked, they asked me to ship back the monitor in the original box - yeah, like i kept that box. I have NEVER in 20 years had this issue with a monitor. So the next option required, pack monitor up in a box so that no damage occurs during shipping, otherwise you are responsible for damage. They did send RMA slip. I suggested that they ship me a new replacement monitor (same model) and I would then ship back the current dysfunctional unit in that monitor packing box as an exchange. The ONLY option is to be without a monitor for who-knows-how-long and ship back to BenQ. I need a monitor of some type to do my job, so it is challenging to ship this unit back, and wait indefinitely for another monitor. (no timeline was given for how long to determine issue, etc) . If you choose to buy BenQ and do not get a lemon, you are in good shape. But if you do get a lemon, the customer service options are TERRIBLE. For now, I am going to make-do until I can afford to buy another monitor from a different company than #BenQ *** If I could give a negative star rating, I would. Since my review, the issue is getting worse. I work from home, and on my monitor 8 hours a day. The monitor goes blank 5X an hour. 40X a day. I have checked every connection, changed the setup, etc. I bought this expensive monitor to replace an $80 17in that I had for 5 years, and never a problem. UNBELIEVABLY FRUSTRATING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!!!!! For some reason, the screen goes black for about 1-2 seconds about constantly. Suggestions are to check for loose connections. That is not the issue but the only explanation or fixes given for constant screen issues. Very annoying since I use this monitor for work, and during a presentation the black screen is incredible disruptive. I have never had other cheaper monitors to hav this issue. I cannot recommend BenQ.

> 3 dayIts an elegant design with very small frame edges. I like the easy change of functions from the control button. I bought an Asus for $275.99 here at Amazon a few months ago, identical performance.

Greater than one weekThe first thing that my wife noticed as I pulled it out of the box was how little light reflected off the screen. And when we hooked it up the image quality was pretty darn great. I was pretty happy with how bright it was and then the next day, thinking it was a bit too bright for my early A.M. wake up I found out it was only at 30%. I can play World of Warcraft in the middle of the day and see the darkest of details in the game. Its amazing! And the blue light filter on it is a god send of technology, no more dry aching eyes and its easy to pull away and see the damn room in the dark. I can see why it sold out so quickly when we first got it. We had to wait a bit for my wife to get her own monitor as well.

> 3 dayI purchased this monitor to replace a 10+ old monitor on my work macbook. Im going from a 1920x1200 to 1920x1080 monitor and hate to lose the larger vertical space but thats what the majority of monitors are using these days! The only complaints I would have about this monitor are minor, 1. I perfer having an external clip behind the monitor as I have some cables that need to be run but out of the way that dont plug directly into the monitor itself (such as a camera and a mouse charging cable.) However, if this were a monitor that hat the back exposed I can see this being appealing and cleaner from both sides, just not something I would need. 2. The power button is big and bright underneath the bottom right edge of the monitor so its not obtrusive like the Xbox 1 controllers but its noticeable. If doesnt draw attention for the most part but is bigger and brighter than I would like. Neither of these is enough to ding a star since it does what I purchased it for and it looks great! Image quality is top notch (while IPS panels have a slower response time they produce much better color and image quality, Im not gaming but working so its just what the doctor ordered.) The imagine is nearly the same quality as the Macbook Pro retina display while using the proper profile. I really didnt have to do much to get it setup an working, unlike monitors of old where I could spend many hours tweaking to get just right. Im very happy with this purchase, especially since it popped up on my price watch at below $100!
