This is way better than a nail clipper - I have to wait until my baby is sleeping because he wiggles, but it is more effective than clippers in my opinion because you don’t have to worry about cutting into skin - if baby wiggles and you miss the nail the filer is so soft that it doesn’t hurt baby at all. The attached light isn’t very helpful though —-

This nail file is perfect not only for babies but also children suffering from Autism. My son is terribly scared of being harmed by the traditional clippers but this product does not scare him at all. The noise and process of the filing of his nails has made this weekly procedure much easier for him and his parents.

This works pretty well but not my favorite thing to use.

Bought this to help trim/ file down my 2 month olds nails. Unfortunately i tested it on myself first before using it in him and Im glad i did because the tool is great! Just wouldnt use it on such fragile little fingers. Ill definitely use it when hes older and his nails arent as fragile.

As a new mother you’re overwhelmed with so much. When we brought the baby home it was easy to file her nails while she was sleeping. As she got out of the new born stage of those first few weeks it wasn’t as easy. I switched to clipping them so my baby wouldn’t scratch her face but with her moving so much I nipped her thumb. I bought this that night and her nail maintenance has been so much easier. It softens the sharp edges so she no longer scratches her self and it gives me peace of mind knowing I can’t accidentally hurt her delicate fingers. Highly recommend

This is very quiet, and very efficient! I just used this on my 3 day old sons nails while he slept! That is always one of the more challenging things to do while they are so little! I definitely recommend this product!

First nail trim for my 3 week old. The yellow is the tip you use for the first 3 months. I just did it and it didnt bother my baby boy. It didnt take long. Just a little care in shaping. Definitely recommend for nail trims without bloody results as so many talk about.
