As a new mother you’re overwhelmed with so much. When we brought the baby home it was easy to file her nails while she was sleeping. As she got out of the new born stage of those first few weeks it wasn’t as easy. I switched to clipping them so my baby wouldn’t scratch her face but with her moving so much I nipped her thumb. I bought this that night and her nail maintenance has been so much easier. It softens the sharp edges so she no longer scratches her self and it gives me peace of mind knowing I can’t accidentally hurt her delicate fingers. Highly recommend

Works great for my newborn. Doesn’t wake her up if I do it while she is sleeping, doesn’t bother her if she’s awake while I do it. My only complaint is that the light is really poorly placed. It doesn’t light up the area you are grinding because the light is blocked by the attachments. In addition to that, the light being on makes it harder for you to focus on the dark nail because of this bright light in your eyes.

Its amazing! It only takes me a couple of minutes to cut my babys nails compared to when I used a regular nail file, OMG It would take me half hour or more trying to distract him. This product is so soft and I recommend It to everyone! I love it!

Worked better than the last one we bought. Both kids (8 mos old and 3 years old) didn’t object to us using it on them even though they were afraid of regular nail clippers. You have to angle it right to make sure it trims the nails and isn’t abrasive on skin but once you yet the hang of it, it is easy to use.

I have two older children and just had twins. Nail care was always a struggle with the older kids and I took our lives into my hands trying to use baby nail clippers to keep them trim. They were still sharp after trimming. Enter the baby rotary nail file. This thing is amazing. The filing discs have enough grit to file babys nails, but are gentle enough that they dont even phase the baby if you bump their skin. I have used it both with babies awake and asleep and they didnt notice a bit. The little headlight seemed silly, but it makes filing during late night feeding sessions very convenient. And its crazy quiet to boot. I have a doggy dremel for my dogs nails and was worried it would be on that noise level. Nope, you barely hear it. This might become my new go to shower gift. Its really that great.

I think most parents fear cutting their newborn and young babys nails. They are so thin and so close to the skin. After a few times, I was good at it. One day, my baby girl moved suddenly and I clipped her little thumb. That was traumatic for me. I have been using this file since then. My baby girl is 9 months now, and she just sits in my lap and watches Little Baby Bum while I file her nails down. It is so gentle she can touch it. I cannot say enough good things about this product. I wish I would have known about it sooner, and it is definitely a must have for babies. It has many different settings and a light to see up close. You also have a choice of file strength. You have to get a feel for it, but it doesnt take long to get used to it. I HIGHLY Recommend.

Works great but the case does not hold the anything in place

Not the best product but not the worst, this filer doesn’t seem to stay at its speed , nor does it come with any extra file heads. I’m only able to use one of the file colors that actually trims nails.
