Greater than one weekThis is our second purchase of this product. First was the VHS version and now this DVD version. Our granddaughter is mesmerized by it. When the music begins, no matter where she is in the house she comes flying in to the TV. She will not move from the moment it starts til it ends. I would highly recommend for parents and grandparents.

> 3 dayI have bought several products by the Baby Einstein company, and my daughter (now 8 months) loves every single one! Especially the Baby Beethoven/Bach/Mozart DVDs are a hit. My only gripe about these DVDs is that you cannot skip the first chapters (warnings, advertising for Little Einsteins show, etc), but Ive found that on my laptop I can skip through all of that, and its even easier for my daughter to watch and focus on the screen than on our TV.

> 3 dayAlthough she does not have the attention span to watch the entire DVD the moments it does hold her attention it really captivates her.

> 3 dayI bought this back in 2010 used from an Amazon seller. The music is good, but the graphic doesnt easily catch a small childs attention. At least my son when he was a few months old, at any rate. He didnt enjoyed it for what the dvd was nor did he care for the music. But I think the dvd couldve been better set up. Hopefully the newer versions have change.

> 3 dayIve written a few comments on Baby Einstein and Im not a big fan generally. This one may be slightly better b/c there is some correlation to the music with the images but still very little. When in desperate need of a 30 minute break, it can do the job but Im not a big fan of just allowing her to watch TV in a trance. They dont call it baby crack for nothing. Also, the videos all say that theyre for ages 0-3 which is silly. No 3 year old (or 18 month old for that matter!) will ever stay focused on these videos and Im always bothered by the use of the word Einstein in the title as if to imply your baby will BENEFIT from the videos. The music is synthesized too which doesnt help with the development of a babies appreciation for music (and spatial reasoning and all of the things that The Mozart Effect espouses. Fantasia is one of my top picks if youre interested in beautiful music and lovely images. Its not a developmental video obviously, but is a classic. For stimulation and Mozart Effect type of results, the best option Ive found so far is Juno Baby. They focus on shapes, counting, and have cute characters that all of the babies in my play group love. They only have one video on their website but are supposedly coming out with another one soon. Theyre not too easy to find yet either which is not a positive for them - thats their biggest shortcoming. As Ive mentioned in some other posts though, if you do have the time, its better to interact with your baby, perhaps while listening to classical music. Just getting some little drums or tambourines out is cute and might even help teach a bit of rhythm and timing.

> 3 dayThis is an improvement over Baby Bach. They started with a great format for Baby Mozart, lost it with Baby Bach and recaptured it here. Love the kinetics, puppets and active toys. The music works well with the action on the screen. Wish I would have skipped Baby Bach and gone right to this. Very helpful tool for exposing your child to music and video. This video is suitable for the under 1 year. My daughter is otherwise not exposed to television or video. This one will not scramble them neurologically. I recommend it!

> 3 dayWhat a great dvd! My daughter loves them, and since they dont have obnoxious singing kids or sappy sweet characters, my husband and I dont mind them. The only drawback is you still get the music stuck in your head, but hey, its Beethoven, so it could be much worse! I dont know why my daughter gets so engrossed in these movies, but she does. My husband and I can now even leave her with a sitter and shes just fine. I dont like to plop her in front of the TV very often, but a few times a week gives me the opportunity to put away groceries, pick up a bit...etc. Wow! Theres nothing else like it.
