Greater than one weekI bought this monitor for both work (coding) and gaming. Ill start by saying that the monitor delivers what it claims to, however, I was disappointed by the overall quality. Pros: - Image and Colors look good (with some tinkering) - It does deliver the features it claims to: 144+Hz, G-Sync, EyeCare etc. - Comes with decent length DP/HDMI cables - There are quite a few preset modes/options in the monitors menu to tinker with and find what suits you Cons: - Build quality feels lackluster - The connections felt a bit misplaced and I had trouble using the DP port. - On my monitor There are 2 (relatively) small dots that seem to have been missed by the coating material, They are much brighter and noticeable on white background. This was not a deal breaker but still quite annoying. - Speakers: Really BAD. I realize build in speakers is not really a requirement for most people. Personally, Im on the computer for many hours a day, and most is for work, so I prefer it over headphones most of the times. I did not expect great sound quality but the sounds come out kind of metallic (Not sure how to describe it) And it actually really hurts my ears and gives me a headache. So... yeah... better assume theyre not there :) - Despite the various modes/options I mentioned above, Some just make the colors look weird and others are not clear about their purpose. The main thing is that most of them cannot be changed when youre in game, so you have to kinda set the options and kinda review the effects from your head until you find what suits you. To conclude, I am somewhat disappointed about the overall quality but I do think that for its price you definitely get your moneys worth. Hope you find this helpful and GAME ON!

> 3 dayGot this to replace an ultra wide LG monitor which broke while mounting it on a monitor stand. So far I like it, the picture is nice and clear and the performances are pretty good. Tried it with console and with computer games and it perform great. One caveat: be sure if you use windows, to go in the control panel and then set the output of the video card to the correct resolution (1440p, not 1080p), since if you set the monitor to a different resolution from the native one, the graphics will look quite bad. And you have to change the frequency of refresh by hand too; otherwise the monitor is used in 60Hz mode, which is quite bad. You can push it up to 144Hz refresh rate, and you will notice the difference immediately. As far as negatives; there are a couple: first of all the horrible Asus monitor interface; there are different buttons and not a dedicate button for switching port; you need to go in the menu to switch port (which is something you could do on the LG in a single touch), and there are no dedicated volume and mute options, which on my old LG would be performed by touching the nipple left and right for volume and down for mute the monitor. Sadly all Asus monitors use this very restrictive interface (I have 3 asus monitors of different price range and they all use the same interface). Last but not least, the ports are at an angle; not a big deal but if you try to reach them from the front; you have to get used to the fact that they are not facing down but at an angle.

> 3 dayThis is the perfect gaming monitor. Sharp, clear, crisp edges. Fast response. Absolutely no complaints at all! Definitely a recommendation to all.

> 3 dayIm not a hardcore gamer, I use this mostly for web development and little gaming here and there and cant speak to the some of the more avid pros that complain about the HDR, nits or it not supporting the latest Display Port version, but damn is this monitor amazing! Like stunningly amazing. I upgraded from a pretty good 24in 1080p IPS 1ms monitor to this one and figured I was getting at most increase size and better resolution, but the difference is night and day somehow. Height, swivel and tilt adjustments are really nice. Colors look great. Almost no discernable IPS glow (compared to my old monitor which had bright corner spots Im blown away how little glow there is), no dead pixels, overclocking to 170hz was simple and setting the colors was easy as well. Started up a few games and was just stunned at how much better they look. Maybe its the 1440p vs 1080p but whatever it is there is no going back. 10/10 would recommend this monitor to anyone.

> 3 dayI decided to go ahead and upgrade to this monitor, which is essentially the new version of my last one that had firmware issues with the panel. Its just like my old monitor - 165hz, vivid colors, great clarity, but most importantly not the artifacts caused by the faulty firmware on the old one. I will say that you will need to mess with the settings to get it the screen to present the colors in the way you want them presented. My only complaint is that my first monitor came with two dead pixels and a stuck pixel that I couldnt unstuck. I got a replacement and the monitor had no dead pixels... Until a minute later after I turned it back on after a wipe-down to remove fingerprints. Now there is a dead pixel yet again, right smack dab in the center of the screen no doubt. Its 2021 and this is an expensive monitor... You would hope that there wouldnt be this many issues with dead pixels. Probably cant replace this one with another as its just one pixel (for now). Unfortunately manufacturers dont think dead pixels are a problem unless you have a high quantity.

> 3 dayI am a software developer by trade and so having a screen with higher than 1080p resolution is pretty much a must. This allows text to be super sharp. This monitor also has incredible brightness, and it is noticeably brighter than my other monitors (old Asus 1080p Pro Art displays). I usually run it at 75% brightness while the other ones I have run at 90%-100%. The color accuracy here is also pretty good. My 10-bit display has slightly more color range, but this is better than anything else I have tried. As a gamer, having 144hz in higher than 1080p is insane. I never realized how badly I needed this until I had it. Now that I am here, I could not go back to 1080p (unless my GPU randomly dies during this drought). The only major complaint I have is the power adapter is outside of the monitor which means I have to secure this fat dongle-like thing to my monitor arm in order for it not to be a big deal. Why did they move the power supply to outside the monitor, I have no idea. Overall if you can get this for ~$350, Id say go for it.

> 3 dayIf you only use this for gaming it will be fine, but for watching movies its horrible, every time there is a black background scene, that black looks white and thats pretty annoying.

Greater than one weekI had the fortune of receiving a founders edition 3070 Ti, and decided to buy this monitor as it was on sale for $329. Setting up 1440p @ 144 Hz was a breeze. Turning on G-Sync was also very easy to do in the built-in menu. Overall the interface is very user friendly and easy to get used to. The power light on the bottom right corner is easily visible at a glance to determine power status. The colors seem pretty accurate, and do not disappoint in terms of immersion. Blacks are pretty dark, but bright scenes are certainly discernable as such. Brightness isnt the best, but if you usually play games at night time like me, you wont have a problem. There was some screen tearing initially, but turning on ELMB completely eradicated this issue. This monitor is by far the best, most responsive Ive ever used. Flicking shots has never been easier, and its easy to see what youre sweeping on fast mouse movements. Ive never been more competitive as I am while using a quality monitor like this. It makes it that much easier to see what is happening and respond accordingly in-game. I would definitely recommend this monitor, and would buy another if I needed it. The price was really good, and the results Ive seen have been nothing short of fantastic. Im also running an ASUS motherboard, also which has had no problems whatsoever. I will continue to purchase the quality products ASUS has to offer!

Greater than one weekVisual quality is great. My main gripe is that the audio from this monitor has to be the absolute quietest I have ever experienced. I dont recommend getting this without also getting a secondary audio device.
