> 3 dayUpdate after over a month of usage: This is a great laptop for gaming. My wife uses it to run the Sims 3 or WoW for hours and hours at a time with no heat issues if you do as I describe below and change the power management settings. No overheating issues at all and it does not just run the games they play well and dont lag. I know these are not cutting edge games but most games I or my wife play on this are not newer games. However the GTX 1650 is a very capable card and will work to play most newer games just fine. You are not going to get ultra graphics but you can play them.

Greater than one weekMy screen has odd streaks on it, and unfortunately I waited until past the return window for Amazon. ASUS revealed itself as a terrible company. So, I added RAM and memory to this computer, and they said if I send it in to get the screen replaced, they will strip all my upgraded parts and send it back with factory parts. I will never buy ASUS again. What a mistake and terrible company. Ive had much better luck with ACER in the past.

> 3 dayWhen I first got this laptop, I had just gotten a decent paycheck so I wanted something to just game on for basic games, mostly Black Ops 3 and Minecraft and stuff like that. At the time, this laptop was a bit cheaper than what it apparently is being sold for now. For solo gaming, this laptop works perfectly fine. It could easily run Skyrim, I run Minecraft with decent fps using some pretty high graphics settings, and Black Ops 3 (especially custom maps, which I typically play on) runs at 75+ fps with no troubles.

Greater than one weekI bought this laptop simply because it was the best value for any laptops with a 120hz monitor. I have only used it for coding and web browsing, and so far there have been no problems with performance (although this laptop should be more than capable for basic tasks).

> 3 dayIt’s hard to find a decent gaming laptop in the price range, so I was a little skeptical about this laptop. And while it has a few quirks, I think it’s a good value and a great choice for a “kids first laptop.”

> 3 day... but something tells me they’re not going to give my money back if I ask for a refund, since I didn’t buy any warranty plans.

> 3 dayThis is absolutely the best laptop Ive ever bought. Ive played many games on it and even did a few benchmarks. On the benchmark, I scored 43% in gaming, 69% in desktop (EDIT: I got the benchmark to hit 80% in desktop!) (NEWEST EDIT: I got it to hit 82% in desktop!!), and 45% in workstation using UserBenchmark program on EZOC (turbo). In room temperatures, it stays relatively cool. I played Overwatch recently, and the GPU tempurature orbitid 70°C. This is no means the best and most powerful laptop, but all the games I played were well above 60fps.

> 3 dayI’ve bought and used a lot of laptops over the last few years and this one ranks near the top. The overall performance is very good and I’m able to play some hi-end games easily. That is, as long as I don’t run it on “silent mode”. And I don’t really need to anyway because this machine is quiet compared to others I’ve used. Best to reserve silent mode to non-resource-intensive applications like word processing. The keys feel good while typing, strong and well-built without that clacky noise. I also like the extra wide spacebar.
