Got this as a replacement and figured it would be good for playing visual novels and whatnot. While it occasionally gets a blue screen when it gets overwhelmed, it outperforms my old computer for sure.

I bought this laptop almost two years ago now. It has held up as far as processing and battery life goes. Have never had any choppy games being played, always run seamlessly even two years later. Only complaint (which does not warrant subtracting a star) is that sometimes there is a connectivity issue, usually after idling for awhile. No WiFi networks can be found, but it usually self resolves after turning the WiFi capability off and then back on.

When I first got this laptop, I had just gotten a decent paycheck so I wanted something to just game on for basic games, mostly Black Ops 3 and Minecraft and stuff like that. At the time, this laptop was a bit cheaper than what it apparently is being sold for now. For solo gaming, this laptop works perfectly fine. It could easily run Skyrim, I run Minecraft with decent fps using some pretty high graphics settings, and Black Ops 3 (especially custom maps, which I typically play on) runs at 75+ fps with no troubles.

I received the first one and the keyboard didnt function the service and replacement were quick and customer service was good the replacement works well i play BDO and i get 69 fps the only reason I didnt give five star is the first laptop failed to function all in all great for the price

Despues de un mes de uso intensivo puedo estar mas que feliz con mi compra. Tengo la version con el ryzen 5 y gtx 1650. En mi extensa biblioteca de videojuegos he podido jugar a todos sin ningun problema, desde luego que no puedo esperar 100 fps en todos los titulos, sin embargo los 60 fps son lo mas comun. Recomiendo ampliamente

Bought this to edit videos for my new YouTube Channel #ActivityMinistry . Needed a system that wasnt going to choke on Adobe suite of products (Photoshop, Premiere, Rush, Audition etc...) . After I installed all the drivers for the video card this ASUS is working like a champ! It handles all Adobe products up at one time with no latency whatsoever! Great buy!

Its great. It was the lowest priced item that was both brand new and capable for what I wanted. This computer can run WoW at max settings. I run it right below that. She can be kind of loud, but hey, discrete graphics get hot. There wasnt a whole lot of manufacturer trash on the computer when I got it, and the Armory application makes customizing the computer for what you do easy. All together I am very satisfied. Its not going to play brand new games at max settings with 120 fps but it can get close enough to make most gamers happy.

I absolutely love the Asus TUF FX505DT Gaming Laptop. This is the price vs performance sweet spot as far as laptop gaming goes that I look for. Ive tested this laptop with several games and have been pleased with the results.
