> 3 dayGot this one on sale back in January for less than $700 USD plus Prime shipping. I was pretty impressed with it right from the get go. Purchased it as a backup for my gaming rig, specially when on the go. While plugged in, it can handle most current gen games at medium to medium-high settings with decent FPS and previous gen at Ultra settings at max resolution at around 70-100 fps. I added an extra 8 GB RAM stick to bring it up to 16 GBs and an additional SSD, since the version I got came with a 256 GB .2 NVMe SSD.

Greater than one weekI purchased this for my tween. He is new at gaming and wanted a gaming laptop. I didnt want to fork out the money on an Alienware for a 1st time gamer. So decided on this for price point and specs. Computer has a super fast start up. Graphics are good and fans are not too loud. Battery life is normal. The only point I can make is to buy extra storage. Once he installed two of his big games, the storage was maxed out. All in all a great computer for the price. My son is very happy.

Greater than one weekThis laptop was such a step up from my previous one! Games run extremely smoothly, and there’s no lag. (though for FFXIV I do have to cap my frames at 60FPS)

> 3 dayUpdate after over a month of usage: This is a great laptop for gaming. My wife uses it to run the Sims 3 or WoW for hours and hours at a time with no heat issues if you do as I describe below and change the power management settings. No overheating issues at all and it does not just run the games they play well and dont lag. I know these are not cutting edge games but most games I or my wife play on this are not newer games. However the GTX 1650 is a very capable card and will work to play most newer games just fine. You are not going to get ultra graphics but you can play them.

> 3 dayI would say that in the laptop category this is pretty good for gaming. Its certainly not a market leader in performance, just about middle of the pack. What does place it above other laptops is the 120hz refresh rate. That refresh rate makes viewing videos very smooth. Most displays are 60-90hz.

> 3 dayOverall a great laptop, but randomly some keys will stop working and then start back up. Not too much of an issue but more annoying than anything else. It’s great for gaming otherwise.

> 3 dayWhen I first got this laptop, I had just gotten a decent paycheck so I wanted something to just game on for basic games, mostly Black Ops 3 and Minecraft and stuff like that. At the time, this laptop was a bit cheaper than what it apparently is being sold for now. For solo gaming, this laptop works perfectly fine. It could easily run Skyrim, I run Minecraft with decent fps using some pretty high graphics settings, and Black Ops 3 (especially custom maps, which I typically play on) runs at 75+ fps with no troubles.
