A few months after purchase the laptop wont charge or boot up.

It gets very hot then shuts down on me.

I have two of these laptops, both were purchased brand new. Both were used about the same amount by two different people. Both had their CPU fans die at almost the same time. When I say die I mean loud noises, scratching, not cooling efficiently enough.

Awesome gaming laptop. I bought this for my grandson and there is no complaints

We purchased this to run our software programs in our small trucking business. Probably a bit overkill for, but we wanted a cmptr that wouldnt be obsolete in a year and could run anything we throw at it!

Mostly just wanted to share what I didnt know.. the i9-12900H cannot be undervolted to help cool the system. You cant do it in the BIOS, or with XTU or Throttlestop.. its an Intel thing.. that being said you CAN easily control the fan speeds, etc. to try to keep the temps you want.

It has an on-boot feature where it plays this loud sound and does some silly RGB keyboard animation. The sound can be disabled through BIOS and/or the PredatorSense app. The RGB keyboard animation CANNOT. This animation occurs on-boot and whenever the laptop wakes up. This basically ruins the laptop for me.

I got this gaming laptop for gaming purposes due to graphic cards being hard to get for a pc. Only complaint that I have is that I didn’t get a bigger screen other than that this thing runs great especially for apex

Initial impressions of the Acer Predator Triton 500 SE are strong. Its a rocket of a laptop with impressive surface stats. The Core i9, RTX 3080 TI, and smokin fast DDR5 memory look like a dream build. A comparably built Razer unit runs almost $1,000 more than the Acer.

I am sooooooooooooo disappointed with the laptop. The sound is MORE than annoying! LOOK FOR ANOTHER BRAND
