Works very well but fans get loud with game play. The sims 4, planet zoo, and house flipper, are my go to games. Chunky graphic games but low action. This computer gets a bit warm and noisy when playing them. Otherwise works like a charm. No slow down.

The system runs INCREDIBLY hot! Even undervolting, with a cooling pad and a cool environment (Fans, AC, etc), running AAA games at high to max settings turns this thing into an oven - the (really nice!) metal components get hot enough itll literally burn your finger. Dont ever touch the area near the turbo button when its hot. Trust me.

This laptop exceeded all of my expectations, especially for the price. All my computing needs are met, thanks to this unit, with the added bonuses of portability and cutting edge modern gaming capabilities. I can even simply plug it with an external monitor, keyboard, and mouse, and it outperforms my couple-of-years-old gaming desktop by leaps and bounds, in all capacities except for modular upgradeability.

Pros: Lightweight, fast, can run most games at very high settings, battery life, cooling design and temps, smooth 144hz 3ms IPS screen, monitoring/overclocking software by Acer, extra 2.5 and m.2 slots, no longer small acer charger but back to thicker, slick lightweight airflow design, keyboard feels great and keys are in correct places (unlike lenovo), best bang for buck as I was researching for 2 months a good gaming laptop with a good price and performance...

Ive enjoyed every aspect of the laptop so far! Everything has ran smoothly, it doesnt get too hot, the keys press nicely, and the mousepad is close to the quality of a macbook pro.

This is a decent laptop and so far has held up pretty well with regular usage. Weve had them for some time now. However, if you do any type of typing for any extended amount of time on it the keys start to fade and eventually wear away. Also, the battery does not hold up unplugged if youre playing a game on it, it needs to be charged all the time if youre playing a game. The video card is decent though needs to be updated a lot.

Very very fast. Outstanding design

I purchased this a little over 3 years ago and it finally started to show its age. From the very start I had issues with my GPU fan sounding rattly, but it still pushed through and I never had GPU temperature problems. A few days ago it finally broke but it was definitely a good purchase back then. For some reason even though this laptop is outdated and very weak relative to much cheaper Acer laptops, the price has gone up from back then. Dont purchase now, buy the 3000 series laptops which are cheaper and better.
