Very solid leptop and very good screen with 144hz refresh rate , i played a games like darksouls 3 and nioh in ultra setting with no problem. RECCUMENDED!

Great laptop

Simply put, this thing is great especially at the $928 black Friday 2019 price I paid. Good mix of portability, versatility, gaming, without going too far in either direction (being so thin and light that it cant game, being so powerful that it cant be portable). This is a great middle ground, and an amazing price. Ill now break my review down into different sections.

Buy this, you won’t regret!

In my experience, the keyboard is usually the first to go in a gaming laptop, so when I saw that the power button was built into the keyboard I was very nervous. 20 days after I ordered this thing, the power button stopped working. The return process has been very bad. Amazon has me paying out of pocket for a new UPS shipping label, when they said they would pay for it.

This is a great gaming laptop for the price. If youre looking for a solid value in a gaming laptop that still keeps up with all or most of the games you play, this is it. That said - it is a high-powered laptop, so the battery doesnt last too long, especially while gaming, but I got this for portability, not for running without a charge, so its no big deal to me. Can get hot and a bit loud during long and intensive gaming sessions.

So Ill start with the fact that this laptop came with undervolted cpu which I found kinda strange. Played PUBG on ultra settings, max cpu temps were ~80°C and gpu max temps were 70°C (max fans on both).

It was the Christmas gift for my son, an excellent gaming laptop, good graphics and performance. Very good price for its quality and benefits.

Like others have said, its 2019s stand out gaming laptop and its amazing the performance you get for the price. I do have a bit of backlight bleed on my model like others but its not noticeable at all during normal use, only startup. I slapped a 512gb sabrent in it and plenty of storage.
