I have never had such a poor experience with a laptop. Acer laptops are prone to ‘black screen,” the display will not turn on. Two years later and no driver resolves the issue. Never again with Acer, never.

Excellent laptop......

Right speaker was not working. Amazon offered an exchange, but then changed it to a refund after I shipped it back. Not comfortable ordering another while I wait an unspecified time for the refund. I guess Ill just buy somewhere else.

Makes a noise. Dont know what it is. Wish I had not paid for Microsoft so soon after buying this unit. Now I cant return the unit.

Buyer Beware! I opened this up and was greeted with seizure inducing screen flicker. I then looked online and there are posts everywhere about this unresolved issue. Thank goodness I cam return it for a refund. So disappointed.

Im writing this review from said laptop. Ill be it it is a little pricey, but I love it. The screen is outstanding as is the sound. I only have two minor complaints you should be aware of. Whilst on Skype, anything else you try to play(audio) will be very quiet and it can not be changed (at least not that Ive found through the control panel). It doesnt really bother me expect when my friend and I try to watch videos together and cant hear it because shes on the other end of my Skype. The other minor complain is that the battery life says up to 7 hours. Now, while in normal use (browsing the web, watching videos, etc. Nothing high profile like gaming) I can get maybe 3 hours battery. This isnt that big a deal considering all this laptop has to do, its just something someone who travels often (and would need a long battery life) should know. I still give this laptop 5 stars because it works incredibly well for gaming and graphics while playing are outstanding. There is almost no loading time and rarely any lag (only when Ive been playing for several hours straight is there extremely minor lag on games with extreme graphics and processing). I would recommend this laptop for gamers.

Great laptop.

Purchased this laptop less than a month ago, and enjoying it. Came as advertised with the extra caddy, screws and everything. My framerates are amazing, and I play most games on Ultra (automatic settings) when available. The laptop does get hot, which is expected of a gaming laptop, as is the low battery life. If youre ok with using it as a stationary laptop with limited movement then youll be just fine.
