> 3 dayReally love this laptop good for traveling and quick gaming setup at friends houses. My 2 major problems with it was the high temps and constant charging while gaming. I even opened it up and reapplied thermal paste and changed the thermal pads but the CPU temps were off the roofs hitting 97°C in games that needed extra power. Overall though It was my first experience with 144hz which was amazing and still satisfied in the power it has for gaming while being as portable as it is.

Greater than one weekPower supply started to randomly fail under heavy load I.E. gaming. after a year and a half of using this laptop, thermal paste was applied as well as proper cleaning procedures monthly. It was good when it worked but it didn’t for long. I’m a little disappointed in the durability of this laptop

> 3 dayThe best part of this laptop is its Aeroblade cooling, it may sound loud but at the end of the day cooling is important for a gaming laptop and plus i found the overall construction quality much better than my earlier Asus laptop.

> 3 daySo far this laptop seems pretty good, you do have to update your drivers as they seem to be out of date... one of the things that is bothering the most is the fact that the battery doesnt seem to last at all... as you can see from the picture I uploaded its at 82% battery and it shows that it will only last 53 minutes... Im really disappointed by this to the point that I may return the laptop however outside of that everything else seems to be ok. Its really loud and it gets hot really fast and really easy! Keep this in mind if you are considering buying this laptop.

> 3 dayOverall great computer, can run all the games i wabt to play. The battery life us short, but its a gaming laptop so its meant to be plugged in. The SSD that it comes with is very small, but it has slots for upgrades to that and memory. Overall good gaming laptop on a budget.

> 3 dayI had to update my review after using this laptop for a month to let you know how hot the Predator gets. The 6 core processor has a 100 Celsius limit before it shuts down mine is already hitting 95. I lowered the voltage -164 to get it down by 5 degrees Celsius and have been using my laptop large twin fan cooler underneath. You might as well understand that Acer uses crappy thermal paste so be ready to dismantle the case to clean up the paste mess and apply a quality thermal paste to drop the temps by 10 degrees Celsius. It didnt matter if I ran the fan to 6000 rpms this laptops cooling system just cant keep 6 cores cool. Good news is the 8750H processor no longer uses the aluminum cover like the 2017 versions processor which means you can apply liquid metal if you choose to do so. Other than the intense heat I am loving this laptop but I cant imagine those of you using this laptops keyboard with so much heat buildup, I use a usb redragon and keep the laptops keyboard lights off to control heat. Just giving you a heads up so you know what to expect. Also there are plenty of videos on Youtube which show you how to dismantle and fix these heat issues, also to help you undervolt the cpu & gpu which will lower temps without too much loss of framerate. Hope this was helpful.
